About
The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley in Tucson is so named for its stunning vistas provided by the nearby Catalina Mountains. The desert-inspired layout features a rolling terrain that blends in seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Trees dot the golf course and there is also an abundance of native cacti throughout. Designed by Greg Nash, the layout features large, rolling greens that are subtly elevated. The front nine meanders through dry washes and arroyos while the back nine snakes upwards to higher grounds. The back nine is more challenging than the front with more elevated tee shots and sharp doglegs. There is a small lake that comes into play and several strategically placed bunkers throughout. The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley also features a driving range and short-game practice area.

The course was in excellent condition and it was a pleasurable experience to play it.
The Views
Enjoyed the course and the people, great experience
in great shape!
hot day, cold beer , paired with good guys. I have zero complaints about this course. In fact, while other courses are suffering from lack of water in this heat, this course was green from tee to green. Greens held iron shots and putted well. Saw a beer cart a few times. Staff was very very friendly. Great range, neat layout, play this course!
It was a hot day!
Course was in good condition considering the heat. Don't forget to bring your own beverages, not cart person in the afternoon.

A very enjoyable round of golf, at a great facility, with a knowledgeable, cordial staff. All elements of the course were moderately challenging, but gave an honest effort, an honest and rewarding result.
Excellent layout
Played the front tees and enjoyed the play much more. Why fight it when you are 77? The course is in great shape and the wind is no factor in the early morning play. Started on 7:30 shotgun and finished playing by 11:00. The wet sand in the bunker was only drawback.

Nice Layout, Nice Views
It was windy and the air thick with dust, so the usual breathtaking views were muted. The course is very playable, and I was given a hole layout description to help me. Enjoyable day.
Dusty Road
Played on a windy day, so much so that you could not see the mountains because of the dust. Fairways and greens were in average shape for this time of the year. Some die back of the rye grass. Straight forward couse with no washes running across the fiarways.
A really good Golf experience
This was truly an enjoyable golf experience . The course is in beautiful condition, especially for this time in the season. It is a scenic course with enough tees to challenge most golfers. Our group found the holes were all very interesting, but not impossible. The guide we were given was a great help. We went out promptly at our tee time and pace of play was great. The pro staff shop were great and took the time to go over the course when checking in. A must golf just a few minutes north.
Challenging desert golf!
The Views is affiliated with Sun City Vistoso. There are enough sets of tees that you can find one that is right for you. Although it flows through the Sun City retirement community, the presence of housing is not objectionable. I really enjoyed the round - good value and good challenge.
A must play for all golfers
The View is a beautiful course. Well maintained with lots of animals to watch as well. Not hard to play --wide open for intermediate players but long enough for the best to swing away. A must play for all golfers.
good starter game
the course was fairly easy and flat. not much trouble. It wasnt worth the price.If this is your first game after 5 months off then it is a good warmup course with some nice scenery
This course has great views
The course is kept in excellent shape and is a good fair test of golf. To be better attuned to the USGA's play it forward policy the could use a set of tees at 6000 yd. The views of the mountains is one of the best I've found in the Tucson/Green Valley area.

Fun day of golfing
Fun golf course. There was a set of tees appropriate for my wife and see had an enjoyable round. The course was generally in good condition but seemed pretty dry in spots. I would play it again.
Impressive
Golf ranger was best ever. Polite, sensitive to pace of play during entire round. Great ambassador for our golfing enjoyment. Very impressive and we'll maintained. Kudos to superintendent.
Go for the Views!
Nice people, great service at the pro shop. The course is actually fun, but had several fairways which the grass was dead. At least your ball ran a long way!. Very scenic! Would play it again when all fairways fill in.
