About
The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley in Tucson is so named for its stunning vistas provided by the nearby Catalina Mountains. The desert-inspired layout features a rolling terrain that blends in seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Trees dot the golf course and there is also an abundance of native cacti throughout. Designed by Greg Nash, the layout features large, rolling greens that are subtly elevated. The front nine meanders through dry washes and arroyos while the back nine snakes upwards to higher grounds. The back nine is more challenging than the front with more elevated tee shots and sharp doglegs. There is a small lake that comes into play and several strategically placed bunkers throughout. The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley also features a driving range and short-game practice area.

a course in great shape in a beautiful setting
Yes, the course is in great shape and such a beautiful setting. And a perfect time of year to play. We also saw 4 bobcat and a javelina. One bobcat walked right past our golf cart when we were on the green. This is the second time my wife and I have played the course. We will be back!
one of my favorite courses in Tucson.
Course was in good shape considering it had been recently overseeded. Not sure why they closed the restaurant/bar at 2:00 when they had so many golfers coming in after an 11:00 shotgun start.

First time here, even though I live 10 minutes from it. A hidden gem. The course was in awesome condition, the staff was friendly, the Rangers kept pace of play moving along, and the cart service was timely. Just a great place, and you can bet we'll be back!
overseed is coming along nicely
played this course for the first time early summer and its become one of my favorites in town. Moderately challenging with lots of interesting holes and always well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The course was in good shape following overseeding
The front nine was slow with two 3 somes that were very much begginers but the marshall kept them moving. It was cart path only following the overseeding but the course was in good shape and the greens were a bit slow but rolled nicely

Short Course. Cart Path Only is a bummer.

The course is true to its name, the views are magnificent. As an added bonus the fairways and greens were in top condition.

This was a nice course for the money. we played when it was cart path only and it seemed that most people on the course played the senior tees & knew where to hit toward the cart path. So playing from the whites & 1st time on course and hitting to the center or the far side from the path made for alot of walking. Also it seemed like most cart paths veer away from the fairway and not parallel from the fairway so know that and willingness to play out of side rough would make for a quicker round. Would definitely play again when it is not cart path only.
Excellent views, moderate difficulty made for a fun golf day.

Lovely views, nice thick grass, actual sand in the bunkers - well worth spending some time on the road if you live some distance away.
This course is very challenging
I was told by a friend who lives in the Tucson area to play this golf course. It was in great condition and the course was very challenging. The staff was very friendly and this was a good value for the money. I will back in Tucson next year for my annual golf pilgrimage and I will play this course again.
Course is well maintained, fairways nice and plush, greens are nice.
My buddys and I had a good time playing this course. For some reason this day started with a shot-gun start and pace of play was somewhat slow, not bad. Overall, we enjoyed our play.
Participated in the club's morning shotgun event. The Views have done an excellent job in improving how they treat "Outside-paying clients".
Course was in excellent shape, especially considering that it will be closing on Saturday for overseeding.
Absolutely perfect conditions!
Played in just under 4 hours on a beautiful, overcast day. The course is the best conditioned that we have played in Tucson in the last 2 months...HIGHLY recommended!

For Sept. the course was in excellent shape compared to other courses in the area.
A golfers golf course, a fair test of golf with a variety of features
The course was well maintained with the exception of the greens that had been recently punched. The course has multiple features, dog legs, reasonable desert carries and undulating greens.
Moderate length, good challenges
I really enjoyed my round and although the course is not very long in total yardage, it has some very challenging holes and requires the use of every club in the bag. Greens putted very well and overall conditions were excellent if not quite Augusta National. Unless you are a bomber, you will enjoy this course!!
