Lago Vista Golf Course

First of all the staff here makes you feel welcome. The course layout and views were amazing, but I couldn't tell the fairway from the rough. I know we've been hit hard with bad weather lately but it was a tough round with the conditions.

Course was well kept up. Fairways and greens were in good condition. Beautiful scenery. Friendly staff

Fairways are too high. Many greens are in bad shape.

I hadn't played here in a while but got great deal. First time taking my son and had a blast. Some of the greens were under repair and a bit rough but for $12 you can't beat it!

The fairways were not cut I spent a lot of time looking for balls hit in the middle of fairways. The greens were fuzzy they needed to be cut and rolled. This course is normally in good condition it has not been raining so I don't know why the grass looked like it had not been cut in awhile.

Lousy!!! Stay away !!! 6" rough in middle of fairways !! Sanded, lousy greens. Not worth the ride out there !! Deplorable conditions !! STAY AWAY !!

A couple greens had some serious damage, but I didn't use those parts. The rest of the course seemed to be maintained fairly well. Very few people were playing so pace of play was fantastic. I didnt try the food at the clubhouse but stopped in for a beer at the end. All macrobrews so that was disappointing. Something local would have been nice. The deer hazards were very entertaining.

They need to find a lawn mower. The fairway was 3-4" tall. Greens were in bad shape.

Fairways are a little rough but the greens were in great shape. Too many deer. But fun course - we had a good time. Some cool holes.

Just a bad course to play on so ruff grass is all dried out you will not get a good hit off the fairway

Nice golf course. People are friendly, the course is very scenic, and if you play in the afternoon you can count on four or five (or more) deer hanging out at every green.

That's right. Every green at every hole.

I loved it, but if you don't like deer you won't like this course.

Bad spots on a lot of greens, lots of weeds in fairway. Love all the deer.....but if you are going to play at this resort, play the other course, Highland Lakes. Much better shape and good greens.

Best layout and beautiful lake views, but bunkers, fairways and greens are not in good shape. I would still recommend for the price.

This was a fun course to play. Have driven through this area a hundred times and have heard about this course. Settled in what appears to be an old neighborhood, the layout is really neat. Each hole from green to the next tee box is easily accessible. A few of the greens are in need of repair and are clearly marked with signage. Beware of the deer.... I believe it was number 10 that I counted 19 deer. Kind of cool. Small practice putting green and driving range. I'd play this again and for $12.00 plus..... very affordable and fun. (Hotdeal).

Played here for the first time and was a bit disappointed. Granted I only paid $12 through a Hot Deal booking, but sadly that's about the current value for this course. The fairways don't really exist, the greens were pretty bad (several greens even had course in repair areas roped off), and on several holes, I was blocked out due to large trees. Not a bad course for >$15, but would have hated to paid more to play here under these conditions.

Friendly staff, played when a couple greens were under repair but overall they keep this course in nice shape. We've hit a bit of weather here lately so I cannot fault the staff for repairs.

Challenging and hilly, makes for a fun course. Pace of play was excellent.

Beautiful layout with great views. The Greens have improved a lot vs. early May 2017 review complaints; in fact all but 3 greens are in great shape. My only disappointment was that the fairways were very long, appearing not to have been cut in about 2 wk or more. But, apparently the fairways are also waking up late due to weather being cooler than normal through mid May. I'll definitely come back, but will check on course conditions first. Please cut the Fairways....

We still had a fun and enjoyable round!
