Old Orange at Verandah

Only the new course was downloadable on my smart phone, not Orange. Nice place, friendly staff.

Aesthetics and conditions excellent. Greens fast but true. Could use more distance markers.

Very nice but for the money GPS or something with course layout is needed. If you do not know the course it can make for a long day.

Listen, you play golf on the course and do not have to spend much time interacting with the employees but when you do some level of professionalism would be appreciated. We experienced this with the cart guys, club house attendant and the starter was also a little condescending in tone. Maybe the members take so much out of them that when a guest is in they have nothing left or maybe they treat everyone like your ordering a Happy Meal. Step it up Verandah because you have a great place to play golf and just a little bit of cordiality would go a long way!

Challenging golf course where knowledge is imperative. Inferior score cards and no course yardage book provided for help. Will play a second time now that I know what is out there.

simply outstanding condition, very friendly and not busy. Ample tees for all, with challenges but very playable. A couple of sharp dog legs with option of long over the water. You will get to use all your clubs. Generous fairways with true and fast greens.

We played Old Orange. It was beautiful and in good shape. It would have been helpful to have had a map showing hole lay-out and pin placement. Play somewhat slow.

Course played moderate to difficult depending on course hole layout. A few very short holes (i.e.; 8th and 17th). The greens were in fantastic condition and prior course knowledge and where to play your ball helps you score.

The hidden water hazards could be brought out a little better for the average golfer. Overall a very competetive track.

Generally wide fairways in very good condition. Greens were in very good condition but tough pin placements. Par 3' s were difficult in the wind. This is a course you could play on a regular basis.

Played Old Orange and loved the course. The fairways are wide, the tees and greens are beautiful and the practice facilities are great. We played at our own pace in well under 4 hours. It is a superb track.

Checking in was handled efficiently and pleasantly and the Starter/Ranger was very courteous. The young lady operating the snack cart was pleasant and made contact an appropriate number of times.The "dismissive" rating in this area applied only to the cart/bag personnel who we encountered at the conclusion of play. One staff member advised us that we could drive the carts to the parking lot to unload our bags which we did. Upon returning the carts two staff personnel displayed attitude and arrogance and made a derogatory comment, intended to be heard by us, about the "type of people who play the facility through Golf Now". That was the only negative aspect of the entire experience.

Our only problem was the rangers rushing us along. They were requiring a 4 hour round and we were running 10 minutes behind. The ranger kept harassing us to pick up out speed.

Very nice practice facility including chipping green and putting green. We left the first tee on time and they had rangers that we not afraid to keep the pace of play going. Course is very challenging and had numerous tee boxes to fit all players. Course was in very good condition.

We like to play this course at least once a month when you have the deals posted. As a player you better have your "A" game in your bag or this course will give you sleepness nights
Some fairways are narrow ,lots of greens are protected by many bunkers and water hazards will come into play . THe greens are perfect and true Many birdies can be made if they are line up and read perfectly. GREAT COURSE It is in my top fice

Course in good conditions. Perfect greens. Staff very pleasant. Will play there again!

we had a good afternoon overall,pace of play was a little slow at first but the course staff had it corrected by our back nine.I plan on playing this course again,would like to play Whispering Oak &will reccomend this facility to friends

The best deal in southwest FL highly recommend playing often!
