Aliante Golf Course

It was the worst experience. Can't see the grass at all

No over seed results in dead fairways and no rough.

First time playing at Aliante, had a tee time for 12:30 pm… normally always enough time to get in 18 holes.. got there and they didn’t have enough carts for people and were backed up. I didn’t get to tee off until 1:55pm when had a 12:30 tee time which is ridiculous to me. I paid 52 dollars to play and didn’t get to finish my round of 18 holes. Very disappointed

They dont have working carts, staff is stressed out trying to help knowing their hands are tyed.

Time times are always late due to not enough working cart.

We had an 11:30 tee time but did not get a cart until 1:15. I was told it was due to a frost delay but that was not entirely true. We watched groups go out approximately every 25 minutes . The barn was full of carts that didn’t work. They had only a handful of working carts which was the sad truth.

The pictures are not even remotely close to the current conditions. 4-5 groups on the par 5 and a 6 hour round. DO NOT play here even if it’s free

excellent course, had a food cart every 10 min. ride by,, beautiful layout and backdrop, Nellis Air Force pilots practicing maneuvers above while playing. I will be back on my next visit.

Solid place to play, fairways were running fast and firm. Greens in excellent condition

I made reservations for 2 foursomes for 11/27/2021. I scheduled the tee times for 1158 & 1206. I stopped for breakfast at a local restaurant for breakfast which had a 30 minute wait, when we got seated our server forgot to turn in our order. While I was waiting for our food to arrive I contacted the golf course and informed them I was going to be 30 minutes late due to circumstances beyond my control. By the time we got to the golf course I was 1.5 hrs late for my latest tee time. The staff worked effortlessly to get my group on the course, which they did an outstanding job doing so. When I checked in the pro shop said they knew I would eventually show up because I booked my tee times through Golf Now, kudos to both Golf Now and Aliante Golf Club. Although we only got 6 holes in due to darkness and the restaurant fiasco we had a great outing.

Pros: nice design and layout with unique holes; Nice desert features including lots of arroyos/dry washes/pines/desert plants; greens/bunkers/tees/ in very good condition; played 18 holes in 3.5 hours on a Sunday; spectacular mountain views including Spring/Sheep/Frenchmen mountain ranges; decent restaurant with great mountain views.

Cons: staff not very friendly; waited 1/2 hour past tee time to get a golf cart -- apparently they're short on carts?!?!?; grass that isn't greens/greenside areas/tees is dormant (yellowish green) and hard packed -- like hitting off dirt.

Highlights are the greens and greenside bunkering -- very nice!

If this course was in pristine condition, I'd rate it 8.5+ on scale of 10. Because of conditions, maybe a 6.5.

I was pleasantly surprised by this course, would play it again, and recommend it.

Beautiful Mountain Views, fairways in rough shape need to be reseeded, greens in excellent shape & fast, love the layout of the course.
