Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Golf on Sunday
Pace was better than I thought it would be! Course was in great shape! I will be back!👍
Nothing special
First time playing this track. Greens a bit bumpier than average. Use your own yardage device, the limited signage was in place for hazards was not even close to being correct. Besides that, course was gettable, Side note, We showed up 45 minutes early but the starter wouldn’t let us put our bags on the cart till 5 minutes before we were going off.. Kind of weird.
Much Improved. Course in Excellent Condition!
Aliante is one of my favorites based on value and staff. Although couse conditions in the past were probably 3 stars this round course condition was 4 star. Only reason why it wasnt 5 was because they just sanded the greens so it will probably be 5 star next visit.
Don't waste your money
The course is in horrible shape. Tee boxes and greens are completely dead. Back nine shut down. None of this information was communicated until we were teeing off at the first hole. Mini tournaments of 28 players (all starting at the same hole) in the early afternoon--only caused additional congestion to the course. Amenities were the bare minimum. Played with a couple from NY here on vacation and they were thoroughly disappointed also.
Very good condition
The fairway bunkers and greens are in great condition. The gentleman that works in the pro shop is very nice. (With the glasses) The starter wasn't that friendly. If these guys want a tip. Pick up my clubs by my car. Not when I'm almost to the pro shop.
Fantastic course & conditions
Course conditions were phenomenal. Cost to play was very inexpensive especially factoring in the shape the course conditions.
