Located southeast of downtown Orlando and about 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport, Harmony Golf Preserve is a secluded championship golf course set on 260-acre wildlife preserve and is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Rated a Top 50 Public golf course in the Golf World Readers' Choice for 2010, the course was designed by Johnny Miller and is difficult enough from the championship tees to have hosted the 2007 Hooters Tour Michelob Ultra Classic, but features five sets of tee boxes. Harmony Golf Preserve is home to a full practice facility and driving range, full service dining in the Harmony Town Tavern, full locker room and shower facilities, as well as banquet facilities for large groups.

Harmony golf

Staff super friendly the local member I ended up playing with was great . I played my best round ever of 72 . The greens are consistent and in great shape the fairways are pure . The 45 minute drive was well worth it . I will be back

Ready for price reduction

Harmony has made some noticeable changes since the last time I played it a few months ago. Most notable was a VERY regimented way of operating. Not sure what position the gentleman holds who was outside overseeing things, but he was definitely directing the show.

We all started on the back because of some event that was planned later in the day. I believe in promptness, but this was a bit over the top.

They also mentioned they had a busy day of nearly 100 golfers. Lower the price and many more will come. Harmony has a great layout and is in good shape, but not worth over $100.

Worth The Drive

It’s a about an hour outside Orlando but worth the drive. The course is a tough challenge but it’s fair. Lots of water comes into play. The course is wet so you get no roll from drives and fairway clubs. The yardage markers are green and look like drain cups so you have to look for them. You need to use more club on approach shots.

We had a late morning tee time. Let a twosome play through on hole 3. Felt like we had the course to ourselves thereafter. Played 18 holes in 3 hours 10 minutes. Great layout. Very good condition.

Club rentals

For a nice course club rentals are horrible. Rented left hand clubs. Clubs were not a matched set and missing several irons. Quality of clubs were very low end for the price of rentals. When talked to manager he just shrugged his shoulders.

Idk what happened to this course

I played here years ago and loved this course. I still love the layout and the greens however the conditions were not what I expect from any course I play. The rough was…..well, rough. The greens were not awful but the overall experience was not to my level. Had I paid $65 to play it I wouldn’t have a bad thing to say. But for the price please improve the conditions so I can come back and play. I’m a 5 handicap and am used to playing country club conditions. This was not it

Hidden Gem

Hubby and I loved it so much that we cancelled our Saturday tee time at another course to play there again. No one was in front of us so we played as fast as we wanted. Best driving range we experienced on our trip. Amazing tee boxes, fairways and green. The rough does need some work but an absolutely amazing value. Definitely going back next trip.
