Eagle Creek Golf Club

Great condition and and very fair layout. Generous size fairways and greens were in very good shape. Good range and warm up areas. Amenities are a little thin but there is a beverage cart on the course.

This is the 5th time we have played here over the years and unfortunately not the best experience.

Arrival meet with a cart I put one set of clubs on and the staff put one on but I still dropped him $10 no thank you just put in his pocket and walked away.

Pro shop well stocked with branded merchandise and nice branded shirts. Shop staff was ok. The range was ok balls a few different brands but ok to warm up with, played off turf and this was like most looked good but mostly sand.

Putting and chipping areas were good both reflected the course greens.

The starter not the sort of person I would want greeting people to the first tee? No nice chat just kept mentioning don’t drive the carts on to his par 3s what a ??????

The tees were all good nice and flat good grass.

Fairways the same all cut to a good playable length and played nicely. The rough was challenging but not too bad to find a ball in.

Greens approach’s and surrounds all good played nicely.

Greens putted well a true roll just a bit slower than I would like, the cups looked like they had not been changed for a while but nothing bad.

Layout is great I love the par 3s here all a bit of a challenge of the back tees par 4s and 5s are also a challenge of the backs but a quite fair if you take the correct lines.

Pace of play? Biggest let down? I have played here a number of times in the past and I have always liked that the people who play here are competent golfers and show good etiquette? We the 4 ball in front of us today threw that myth right out of the window? I have never had to wait so long to play my next shot? We even stopped half way to use the bathroom and top up with drinks and snacks only to catch them up on the 11th tee. They would not let us through? The course marshal did not want to know when he asked us if all was ok and we told him the truth he just drove off the other way without attempting to speak to the group of what only could be described as novices (that’s being polite).

No beverage cart and because we were so late finishing (nearly 5 hours) we had to rush off where we normally eat and have a drink at the clubs that we play so can’t review this.

It’s a shame we always look forward to playing here but this has all just taken the shine off it.

I would still recommend the course just keep you fingers crossed that you don’t get this 4 ball in front of you ?

User friendly with enough of a challenge for all levels.

The course us in great shape. The greens had been punched aboutca week earlier, so they were a bit slow. Other than that, it's in great shape.

Course layout is fun, pretty open with some difficult holes as well. Greens were slow and bumpy from aeration a few weeks back.

Greens were definitely sub par.

Was surprised there was no aerification alert posted when I booked this time.

Disappointed in not knowing on Golf Now that the greens were just aerated and sanded. Would not have paid the rate of 74 per round for that type of conditions. Putts were not true, sand was thick and VERY SLOW

Course was fine. But the greens had been aerated and sanded. Basically unputtable. I know it’s basic and expected course maintenance. I just wish I’d known it up front so we could have played elsewhere. It was a 3-generation outing (me, my son, and my dad) and this sorta spoiled some of the experience I anticipated.

I really enjoy the layout of Eagle creek. Of course conditions are always good. Greens have been punched a couple weeks ago but we found out they’re gonna be punched again August 17 and 18th. These greens have a lot of grain. They need time to heal. Scott in the cart barn is a rockstar. This place always gets a lot of play so considering that it’s always in pretty good shape.

The last aeration of the greens added to the uneven mowing (looked like mower skipped across the greens) made the greens bumpy, slow and inconsistent. We’ll probably wait a couple of weeks to try it again.

Love this course. Great layout and is priced right for this time of year. Greens were verticut recently but didn’t effect putts at all other then perhaps a bit slower
