North Shore Golf Course

Played NS after a bit of a break from playing there. The course conditions are good. Greens were a bit soggy from either rain over overwatering, but they ran pretty well. Fairways were nice. Tee boxes weren’t beat up. Maintenance staff were all pleasant and courteous when taking shots. Drink Cart attendant was nice and conversational.

Overall good experience.

In good shape right now, overseeding looking very green/lush. Love the layout, surprisingly quiet, especially on the back 9.

Greens rolled true. recent aeration so was a bit sandy. Tees are good overseed throughout the course was growing good. Course was damp, muddy in low areas. NO DRINKING WATER ON COURSE. Wouldn’t say it’s worth $99 so hot deals are a must. Would play again for under $60.

Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly not quite sure why the Sheriff kept driving by and looking into everyone’s carts… He did it on several occasions throughout the game.

There are no rangers or anyone addressing the pace of play. Which golfers is that to go out there and take their time play multiple shots and I have no consideration of anyone else playing. People play laid off of the star time and it just perpetuates from there. The course was very nice, but this was the worst golf experience I’ve ever had.

On Golf Now they show $99 for the early morning tee times. Then it goes to $50 at noon. HOWEVER, if you read the fine print, THAT PRICE IS FOR 9 holes!!! So the later tee times actually cost more than the early tee times. And, they charge $100 for non residents. The ownership has always been difficult and that is the most favorable term I could come up with. This course is not worth $100 in the middle of the day, especially when it is getting dark early. That is why there are so many open tee times. Please sell the course so more reasonable ownership can take over.

This course is turning around as it normally does this time of year. Rye grass is coming in thick, greens are improved but are playing slow. Pro shop staff were nice, cart girl was also nice. Pace of play was 3 hours 30 minutes for a foursome. Rate should be cheaper for a course this empty, $60 for tee time 1:30pm is a bit much.

Great layout and terrific conditions. However, pace of play some of the most challenging I have seen in Central Florida in quite some time. No cart restrictions, perfect weather and 10 min tee times still produced a 5.5 hr round. Long, long time since I have seen that. Talked with staff and rec'd rather passive responses. Others players in the group beyond frustrated and likely to not agree to go back. Shame as it is a nice course here in the area. Slow play has to be addressed.

It had been a while since I last played at North Shore; the course is in great shape, and pace of play was spot on. I won't hesitate to go back.

This course is always hit or miss. It does not drain well and if it rains any amount, the course will be cart path only and soaking wet. Yesterday we were met with cart path only and the greens were sanded. We were the only group on the course that we could see at 2pm. The course was soaking wet and more than half of the greens had some sort of issue, with either a fungus, patches or just burnt out on the edges. I always say this course is worth $50, but no more than $70 max. It is definitely not worth the $120-$139 dollar range that they will be asking in the next month or so.

Course is in descent shape, but greens were just sanded today. Several of the greens were in very rough shape prior to sanding, hopefully this will help out some. As always though, course is fun to play, and price is right. Staff is great and as usual got done in under 3.5 hrs.

The staff are always great. Very friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome every time.

The course is a great layout with the two nines playing very differently. The front nine has an open parkland resort feel while the back nine has a Carolina low country vibe. It makes for a unique experience.

I have played the course often and conditions are a bit rough. Some greens damaged, some fairways ripped up by carts out on soft ground and some tees on the bare side. Seems to be caused by all the recent rain in Orlando area. Usually the course is in great shape but it is still playable

Overall a favorite of mine in central Florida.
