#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

North shore is normally always in decent shape. Fairways have some spots that need some work but it’s summer and they have a lot of sand cranes so you can only do so much. Very very soft greens. Almost like walking on a sponge. That being said they aren’t as slow as they feel. They run pretty true. Maybe a little on the slower side but very solid greens. Tee boxes could use some touches too but again it’s summer. Course does charge a lot for what it is though. Probably because it’s in lake Nona. Worth $30-50 at the most (weekend). Hole 1 is one of my favorite opening holes though. Always good to start a round off -1. Definitely an eagle par 4 hole if you can hit a solid 260 drive if the pins in the front. Course starts off pretty easy then gets harder as you go
I cannot believe they are still charging $70 plus tax. This place is in horrible conditions, tee boxes are dirt and dry brown crap. Fairways are brown-yellow and there is no water to drink anywhere on the course. Will never play this course ever again. Bye felicia
Extremely over priced
Tee boxes are dirt
Fairways over grown with weeds
Bunkers flooded and haven’t been taken care of
Greens burned and almost unplayable
Love the layout and facility
Seems as though the course is struggling, bare spots on fairways and greens. It has deteriorated dramatically over the past couple of months. Hopefully it comes back strong
Hot and Parched
Everything was great at check in. We hit a bucket of range balls and the starter was nice and did great getting everyone rolling. The course was in great condition.
The only challenge we had was that there were no water coolers on the course, only one fountain and it was broken. It was super hot out. We finally caught up with the beverage cart on hole 8, she was out of water. She did not seem to care. Not fun for my son who was dehydrated after 4 holes. It was not fun for him. If the on course ammenities were better, this course could have scored a 5 in my book.
I would have rated staff friendliness a 5, but cart person brought that down to a 3.
GREAT VALUE HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Best value in town. Nice course, interesting layout, well-maintained. You have to be able to withstand the Central Fla mid-summer heat sauna - but well worth it. Friendly staff - super pace of play - well maintained course. Highly recommend.
July - North Shore
$50 for a 2pm tea time on a Sunday.. if the course conditions were better this would be a great price. However the course was a little rough. I’d pay $30 for this course during these conditions
Greens need some serious help
Course in good condition despite the lack of rain, however the greens need quite a bit of work as there are serious fungus issues on most of the edges. Would like to see more if cross cut pattern on the greens. Love the contrast of the front and back nines. Will continue to play
Much worse shape than last year when I played here
Won’t be coming back here at 65$. . They’ll have to fix the greens to be respectable and maybe do something about the fairways. Played like a 35 dollar course. Great layout. Bad conditions.
BRING YOUR OWN WATER (and a lot if it)
Bringing a water bottle isn’t enough. Bring a whole gallon because Management has removed any water source on the course. Its Florida, so in 95 degree heat when you can’t refill your own bottle, it doesn’t make you feel like a valued customer. Course is nice other wise. The greens are always what keeps us coming back but any respectable course in florida should supply water and not force you to purchase bottled water. When you get there spark a conversation with Johnny the starter/cart guy.. ask him “which cart rides?” And he’ll know I sent you and will bring your the fastest cart the course has to offer. I believe #74 RIDES!!
Greens still good. Everything else is slipping.
Greens are good but slower than they used to be. The rest of the course is not what it once was. Guys in the pro shop are as nice as ever- they charged my buddy who is missing a leg $25 to ride around with us.
Course is a very good layout, challenges exist in the back 9. Dan who checked us in is super friendly. Greens are superb but fairways have some challenging areas and some tee boxes and areas around the green or just off the fairway are really bare. Course needs re sodding in spots and water.
Pace of play was really good since course was empty.
