Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Blue/Red Course

Golf course was in good condition, played nicely. Had a nice time. However, I was taken back by the checking in process. While checking in, I inquired about any discounts, AARP, Military. The young lady answered there were no such discounts available. While playing with my two partners, who checked in after me, discussion of cost came up.

They too asked if there were any discounts. After a little discussion the cashier said she would sign them up with an active military discount, free round of play. After hearing this, I became angry inside and tried to let it go, however it never left my mind during the round. I asked my friends if they were playing a joke on me, being Christian men, they said no.

Played all over central Florida. This is a new fave of mine. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a lavish set of buildings that boasts years of building an awesome course. Cart person, starter, staff, and overall course were just A+ all around. I will be coming back. Often.

Starters were fairly friendly there is a lot going on first thing so they seemed a bit stressed out. The range is not brilliant the mats a quite worn out balls were ok. The carts are old and no distance system fitted? This is not a problem for us just letting future players they might need to provide there own.

The course there is three 9s and we played the blue and red, both were in good shape especially after all the rain they have had, tees are a little bit bare/over used but again not a big problem. The fairways were good just a few areas to keep the buggy’s away from these were very well marked and routes through were good and very well thought about. The greens were brilliant the best of this holiday/vacation so far. Surprisingly I only found one bunker and this played as I would hope. Green surrounds were challenging and a little bit varied but still good. I love the little quirky signs named after people that had historical problems makes it feel more homely and a lot less corporate, also nice touches with the old British phone boxes to call food orders through. The 19th hole was very welcoming and the food was great. Luckily were we paired with a couple of very nice locals (Andrew and Greg) helped me with a few lines as what you see is not always the correct/best line. Overall very well worth playing.

Stuck behind a league so pace was really slow and the greens were not as I’m used to seeing which is fast and pure. Greens were punchy and not normal for RSC.

First time playing here. It has everything you would want and more: nice range, short game area, wnd 27 holes. The course conditions were good, not great because the greens had recently been punched. Playable but not exactly true. I was able to play all 27 which was a nice bonus. I booked through GOLFNOW and paid $84 total for playing all 27. Not bad at all. I definitely want to come back to play again when conditions are optimal. Highly recommend.

There is no golf course map (paper or at the tee off). We where Lucky, we've played with membres. So they explained us the path to follow.

A staple for golfers who want good conditions at a fair price!

A little slack on etiquette from some patrons but it’s still a good place.

Course is in fantastic shape for July in orlando! Fairways and greens excellent shape! Played a threesome and we finished in less than 3 hours. Didn’t see another group on the course which is crazy considering the condition. Restaurant is closed due to renovations and we did not see the cart girl..

I played in mid-July at 9:30 in the morning and it took 4 hours and 30 minutes. The staff wasn’t overly friendly as it is a public course and they get plenty of play. The course layout is nice if you want to play a links style course. I don’t think I could recommend it with the slow play and blah attitude from the staff.

This lynx course is so much fun it's like taking a trip to Scotland.. conditions are great and very memorable holes

Keep returning to play Royal St. Cloud GC as it has 3 great layout nines that are challenging at any tee box. Course was in very good shape and the greens ran true. Will be playing again when back in the Orlando area.

Played the Blue & Red nines. Great layout. Fun course. A lot of bunkers and quitea bit of water. Driving range was on mats (a Tuesday) which was unfortunate.

Played blue/res since white was closed down. First time visiting and loved it. Plenty of waste bunkers, awesome greens and tee boxes. Had lunch on patio then played 18 more holes. $27 replay can't complain about that!
