Hemet Golf Club

This course is fun to play, greens are well kept and challenging, fairways are getting better, rough is rough. Definitely worth it to play for the price. Unfortunately no drink cart and it can be busy and slow.

This is a fun course to play for the money but the new GPS carts had us cussing all day in frustration. There are several spots where they shutdown due to the boundary being off. We found ourselves going in reverse all the way across the fairways just to get the cart to unlock. At the end of the day my partner and I said we wouldn’t be back due to the carts. Besides the carts the green were a little rough, some tee boxes were the worst I have seen at any course around. The place needs a little love but they wasted money on GPS carts instead.

New carts are great with GPS. Personally I don't like these carts and they had them on cart path only. I don't like cart path only. But the fairways would have been torn up without the GPS. So we managed. Course was in great shape. I call this a home course for me and on top of it all, great pricing.

Honestly I’m starting to like this course a lot. When I think of Hemet CA the first word that comes to mind isn’t gorgeous lol, but this place is a gem. There are plenty holes with postcard views, especially yesterday with all the snow draping the mountains in the background. Wow. Very challenging too. To where you need to know which holes you can be aggressive at and some where you don’t. They have great carts with GPS also which is nice. Pace of play was great. Only cons were basically just most bunkers had hard sand in them and most tee boxes were in tough shape. Other than that this place gets 4 out of 5 stars easy. Definitely playing here again soon.

Overall it was a decent course. Due to the extreme amount of rain, the course is overgrown and needs some TLC. The back nine is especially harsh. The fairways are overrun with weeds and feels like you're hitting out of the rough, and one hole's fairway has massive patches of dirt. We were told but the starter that they are having a hard time finding maintenance crew to take care of all of the overgrowth. It is still a decent course with great staff. We will return.

Hemet Club was making positive changes in upkeep and maintenance, but those things have disappeared... Again. Weeds as high as my belt surrounded every hole with bunches of clover everywhere to swallow up the balls. Worst casual water conditions I've ever seen and the teeing areas are back to wall to wall divots. The only saving grace is the greens are still playable as ever. Last year, I had hoped that the course would keep improving, but the only change is the higher greens fees.

Always a fun course and good vale for the money. New golf carts are an added bonus. Need to fine tune the carts for some holes that shut down even when on the cart path. Like after leaving hole 4 at top of the hill. Many fairways need grass. But maybe that will come one da soon. For now tight lie fairways and bare spots. Greens are nice though.

Went last minute as a single. Hooked up with a fun threesome who knew the course well. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was decent. Round was a little over 4.5 hours. The tee boxes were a little beat up and not even, but otherwise everything was in good shape. Would definitely come back.

Great course! Very challenging! Got the new carts recently with the touch screen stats and yardage to go feature is awesome!

Showed for a 7:40 at about 7. Greeted with "the greens are frozen, no one is going till about 9" As I waited the next announcement of "cart path only" came in. I asked if I would be charged if I wanted to not play as there was a lengthy delay due to "FROZEN GREENS" I was assured I would not be charged if I had booked online. I said that sounds good and I would be back another day with my brother to play. After 3 weeks of hyping this place to go play I get an email that they are charging me for the round after I was assured I wouldn't be. I would have sat around for the 2 plus hours of delayed play if I would've been told they were going to me charge no matter what.

This course has the potential to be great. Great layout on most holes with beautiful views of mountains and lakes tucked away in hemet. Because of the rain it was cart path only which kinda ruins my game. It could’ve at least been 90 degrees though. Greens were tournament speed. Felt like cement with slippery surfaces. you d be lucky to 2 putt from 10 feet. Just needs a few tee boxes repaired Puddles on fairways and sand traps mostly but should be dry soon. Staff was nice. Definitely gonna play again soon

Greens are a 5, Fairways and tee areas are a 2. Layout has potential to be a great course if some money is put into it.

This must have been a lovely course. Each hole is interesting and the views of the mountains, the rocks and the valley are lovely. The staff are kind and welcoming but the lack of watering has led to fairways that have little grass and the whole impression is of dilapidation. With water and grass seed this would be a delight,

Course conditions are not sd good as previous years

I don’t usually leave reviews but after paying $47 for this course I felt I needed to leave one. Haven’t played here in over a year but it’s still in the same conditions that I last played. Fairways are beat up, greens are decent, tee boxes are doable. This course is a great value under $35 but definitely not the late morning price of $47. At least the carts are newer with GPS. Biggest pro of this course is the food at the clubhouse. Good eats at cheap prices.
