Excellent course, quite beautiful. Staff very friendly and will come back again and again.

This course has a great layout of holes. The most difficult holes are 9 & 18. Holes 1 & 10 are both par 5's which speeds up play. Greens are always in great shape and management is now grooming the sand traps and addressing maintenance issues that may have slipped a little due to Covid. For the most part areas that need maintenance are in the rough. Practice facilities are sparse with only a putting green and a rabbit patch driving range; adequate for warming up though.

Another great Inland Empire course that needs just a little TLC. I remember when the Landmark company opened the place and it was like a miniature version of La Quinta courses right in Hemet. Landmark no longer runs it, but the bones of a great course are still here. Condition is mediocre at best but the layout is sold. Water features are disgusting and should just be removed in most places except 17 & 18. Greens are in pretty good shape and are probably the courses best feature. Customer service could use a shot in the arm. Staff are gruff and could care less about the customers. If you are ok with that, the $40 green fee should get you over it. It is possible to be pleasant and offer affordable golf at the same time.

Course was nice however, the pace of play took away from full pleasures of the round.

Over several years of playing at HGC I have noticed improving conditions at the club. Seems like crews are constantly working to modify or enhance the course.

we started 25 mins after our tee time, because the 8 people before us were late,

they did not pick up the pace, they took their time and really did not care that 10 plus people were behind them, we ended up skipping hole 9 and rushing to hole 10 to get ahead , several groups did that same thing so we ended up playing to hole 12 and just leaving the course as we were 3 hours in and not going to finish and every hole had to wait 15 or so minutes to tee off,

we will not be returning to play this course for a it.

Staff is very helpful when course system didn't have our booked tee time via TeeOff/Golfnow. Don't know who dropped the ball but everything turned out to be ok.

The greens are in pretty good shape. Some fairways need more work.

This is a well kept challenging course for the money.

they don't have my reservation. i show my reservation# to the staff.

I've played here off and on over the last year and I can attest that the new owners are working very hard to improve the course. The grounds crew was very active when I played yesterday. The bare spots are going away and the fairways and greens are the best I've seen them. HGC as a good, laid-back, friendly vibe and it's a fun course to play for a relaxing round of golf. The staff is very friendly and the clubhouse amenities are fine. The only thing missing is a beverage cart, but there aren't enough golfers to make one worth doing, as the course is never crowded.

The new owners are really doing a great job with the course, working on fairways,new sand in some traps, working on tee box’s. The greens are in great shape. I love the layout really a fun course, I play it twice a week!!

This course is well maintained and can’t beat a Saturday or Sunday round for under $40.
