Hemet Golf Club

I’m not sure where the people that have left recent reviews are used to playing but this course is not in good condition and definitely not worth the money. The range is completely dead. The traps have ZERO sand in them, they are just a rock hard hole in the ground. The fairways are either dead or sloppy wet, there is no in between. You have to search for a decent enough spot to tee off from on just about every tee box and the greens are mediocre at best. They have no control over tee times and let people go out whenever they want. So there are either huge gaps or people are stacked up and pushing. If you are a 25+ handicap looking to screw around and waste your day then this may be for you. But if you are a golfer and care at all about the courses you play, save your money and play somewhere else. This course is no longer the hidden gem it used to be. It’s a $15 course that they are charging $35 for. Not worth it by any means. I live here in town and would rather travel to play somewhere worth the money.

Course layout fun, conditions below avg, relatively cheap, and pace of play is always good. It's fun and worth the money.

Tee boxes were rough, but greens were good. If they fertilized the fairways etc. they could get the course back to an even condition. Good course though.

Tee time delayed 45 min due to no carts available and men’s league so did not finish round. Greens good but rest is very shabby. Members play ‘find a decent a lie in fairway to play from golf’. Like severe winter rules. Younger guy in proshop was great but they had a very miserable older guy before noon. Overall, a course not worth playing despite potential of lay out and scenery. Korean owners simply don’t give a toss about the place

Snow birds are in town, so pace was slow. The weather was prefect. The course has quite a bit of wet spots due to the recent rains. The greens are prefect.

This course was a total surprise. I booked it as it was the only one I could fit in that day and stumbled on a gem. Great price, greens and approaches in excellent shape. Fairways and tee boxes weren’t perfect but nothing horrible. Length is perfect too. You don’t have to hit it 300 off the tee to go low, shot shaping is much more important. The layout is what really shines. Every hole is pretty interesting and the surrounding housing development isn’t too obnoxiously intrusive. I would put this right up there with Pala at a much lower price.

The course was in the best condition I have seen in a while. The greens ran true but were a little soft and spongy. Plenty of challenges, but the bunkers do need some sand. Some of the bunker were hard packed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Greens were slow today or I was weak. I kept coming up short. It looks like they are putting quite a bit of water on the course. Course plays very fair. Morning are best because the wind can come up in PM.

greens were in good condition and one crazy old golfer on the course complaining about pace of play to our group. We finished our round in 4 hours!

Tee boxes are good but can be better and it looks like they are working on it. Fairways ok, do need work but suspect it's due to terrain....see below. Greens and fringe .great.

It plays tougher than slope indicates due to elevation changes on every hole.. you'll be challenged to pick the right club.and pay attention to wind direction. Not long, but you have to think about position. Layout is great, fairways generous but the rest of your game will be challenged. It reminds me of a Robert Trent Jones designed layout in that respect.

Coarse was fun. Greens are in good shape. A couple of the T boxes were in poor shape. Staff was great. Coarse was crowded due to a few of the other courses being closed down in town. Great place to play for the price

This course has a pretty good layout, tee boxes are OK, Greens are very good.

The rest just sucks. Fairways are either dry or soggy, not consistent on the mowing, weeds everywhere. And the rough is more like a natural landscape in the desert. Sand traps as just dirt.

Course is losing money obviously and maintenance is at an all time low.

Getting ready to close the doors is my prediction.

The price through golf now is great, but still not worth it in my opinion.

I've played about 14 courses in the Inland Empire area over the last few months. These are some of the best greens I've played! The rest of the course is in average condition for this time of year. The layout is nice and interesting. Challenging, but a little more forgiving off the tee than many courses. Not as many lost balls for errant tee shots! Fairways are ok, but have some areas that really need some water.

This is a "7.0" on my ratings. It would be an 8 if they had more water on the fairways. I will definitely be playing here again.

The golf course is under lots of ground work. Also greens are punched this week.

Surprisingly, our round was four hours on the nose for a foursome following the very recent influx of numerous Canucks! Greens held very well but are a bit slow. Great layout in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

Some of the smoothest greens around, and big. Rest of course needs some tlc, especially fairways and tee boxes. Sand traps are hard.

Challenging layout, tho, so is fun to play.
