Chans revenge is that you have to tee it up in a barren wasteland. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

I didnt see in the yardage book that theres actually a hazard short of 10 green, I must've missed it. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Great Upkeep
I played on a super windy day, but really enjoyed the course. The fairways and greens were the best I've played in Colorado over the winter months. A couple par fives that probably should not be a par five, but hey it helps the scorecard. Overall had a great time and I'll be back at some point to play in the summer months.
Nice but slow!
The greens were definitely not in good shape. The pace of play was a tad slow! Some fairways are too close to each other. The fairways were great! No Ball washers anywhere. No sand for divots!
Great Course for the rate
Played on a Monday afternoon for $29 with a cart. This course is a good challenge with a fun layout. The last four finishing holes play into the wind usually and really make you earn a good number. I would recommend this course especially for the weekday rate.
Great Course
This course is in great shape for this time of year. Fun to play, a couple tough forced carries. Will definitely play again as the spring comes around.
Excellent Course
Great setup, was in great late summer shape. Plays long and has quite a few elevations changes.
Great course in great shape and a great value!
Title above says it all. Really great shape and what a value at $35 with a cart! A bit slow but expected on a gorgeous November Sunday before the Broncos game. A great day!
Nice course
The course has challenges, especially on the back side where you encounter a lot of natural grasses that will welcome any errand shot. Keep it in the fairway and long and you will be rewarded with "Eagles" or "Birdies." Leave it left or right and suffer the consequences. Staff is always wonderful. Pace of play use some speed, but a great looking course. Check it out!
This is a challenging and fun course to play
Deer Creek has some very interesting holes, which provide a nice challenge. Some of the holes require you to hit long-and-straight, while others are target practice.
Lots of fun to play!
one and only
We don't care that it is Oct 25 and you are understaffed. This course needs to be marshalled. One of my playing partners allowed his 7 year old son to hit ball, putt and screw around with cattails. I was asked if it was o.k. Guess what, I didn't approve. Had you had a marshal maybe this person would not have assumed it was o.k. No sand in the bottles on my cart, no water bucket to clean clubs at the range since it was really wet, most ball washers empty of water on the water bucket at #1 tee was also empty.
Nice course
Very enjoyable to play. Wide enough fairways yet plenty of trouble. Course was in great shape, especially the greens. Lots of variety in the holes.
Good course layout
There was no marshal and pace of play was really slow.
Bring some extra balls
I had not played Deer Creek in a few years, but wanted to play a nice course for my brother in law's birthday round. And we were not disappointed.
Deer Creek had a nice mix of interesting and challenging holes. The greens had been recently sanded, but were healing fast and putted pretty well considering.
Accuracy off the tee and on approach shots was critical. Some of the fairways were pretty narrow, and several of the greens were bordered by wetlands. But I think all the trouble actually helped me focus, and I played one of my best rounds of the summer.
I usually play Applewood or Wellshire, but I look forward to another round at Deer Creek in the near future.
deer creek 7:24am on 9/25
great course conditions this season. could use a beverage cart on the course. new grass practice tees are a good addition
Really enjoy playing here
This course is a pretty fun layout. The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape for a public course. The changes in elevation are quite interesting and the crevice/creek running through the course is pretty much a no go zone. Definitely will play again soon.
Deer Creek
Great course for the price. Each 9 gives you a different style of course and there are some great hioles.
Good Course
Deer Creek is a course that you do not want to be off your game at or you will lose a bunch of balls. It has some really fantastic holes with different challenges. It is a fairly short course with some difficult approaches. The creek that runs through the course seems to come into play on almost every hole. Definitely would give Deer Creek a play if you have the chance.
Excellent value
This is an enjoyable layout from start to finish. The conditions from tee to green are very good and there are several forced carry's which require thinking your way around the course. For the money, it's a great value!
Target golf at it's best
I am really curious about the person who wrote a review a week ago and said the course conditions were poor...he must have been playing at August National the week prior...because this course is in great shape. Yes...there are divots on the tee boxes in August...to be expected on any well played course.
The greens are a tad slow...but fair and true. The fairways are green and lush...the wetland grasses are tall and thick. This course is healthy, and so is the challenge.
Unless you are a low single digit handicapper, please play the golds...you will enjoy the round and so will the group behind you.
The layout is anything but flat, (not built for walking) and the greens are protected by extreme drop-offs into lateral hazards. About 5 tee shots are forced layups, so the driver is not the most important club on this course. You will need straight irons to shoot in the 70's on this course.
This is a classic target golf course. You need to find the correct side of the fairway, at the correct length off the tee, to give yourself a good shot into the green. This is how golf was intended to be played, to a specific target, not just grip and rip.
There is a good chance you will see a deer, hawk, fox...we saw a beaver. Lots of wetlands and trees for local wildlife and your eyes to enjoy.
We did an early morning Monday round and got a BOGO deal with the GreenSaver Golf discount book. Only $25 each with cart! We played in a foursome in under 4 hours...we set a good pace being the first out.
The only knock on the course...the breakfast burrito was dripping with grease making it mostly inedible. So skip the food and bring your own snack.
