It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Think before you hit
Deer Creek is a great thinking man's course.
Your required to pick out best landing area for your approach shots.
Not your average bang away course really enjoyed the round and used all the clubs in the bag.
I will play the course again and recommend to others.

Challenging Yet Fun COurse
Deer Creek is a course that challenges with drives over wetlands so the less accurate player may want to bring a few extra balls. The course is in fine condition and has a fantastic layout that is pretty unique with views down the fairways as well as of the surrounding foothills of the Rockies are stunning. Play the gold tees if you want a good challenge (several par fours well over 400 yards). This is a course that you will want to play again and again if you are lucky enough to live here and visitors will have a great experience to take home.
lies
front 9 more challenging. then the back. more offset lies.
More people should play here
I mean I don't want more people to get in my way but this is a great course in excellent shape and can't figure out why more people don't play here. Some great holes and a good challenge if you pick the right tee box.
Deer Creek
Very enjoyable day, with course in great condition. Layout was fun and greens were smooth and consistent. Enjoyed the varied hole layouts and mix of target and more open fairway designs.
The best $20 I've ever spent on a round
2nd time I've played here. Deer Creek has an incredible layout,;soft, well defended, true greens; and devilish rough. The elevation changes and manner in which terrain and the creek are brought into play make you have to think before you shoot.
This beautiful beastie humbled me on the first go round; second go was better; I'll keep going back until I tame her.
Worth going back
I'm new to the area and played a few courses but keep coming back to Deer Creek. Staff is helpful and greens are perfect, not super fast but fun.
pace of play
The course was very enjoyable to play. Pace of play just under 5 hrs.I went to the pro shop afterwards to compliment them on the course conditions and the layout (with the exception of #5,I parred it,but not a good hole). I asked what the usual pace of play was, the gentleman behind the counter told me that 5 hrs was not unusual. Overall I had a very good experience and will come back again.
Amazing Day
Deer Creek is not for the timid golfer.... Nor one who likes to lose balls, but what a terrific course. The terrain is challenging, there is enough rough to keep you wondering, and wonderfully placed fairways, that make up for the rough. Staff was great, I will look forward to playing again!
Slow going!
The course is pretty nice and was in decent shape, the views are great as well. The terrible things are they let a group play 5 people, which is illegal and slows play terribly. Plus the group of 5 wouldn't let our group of 3 play through. Was very annoying and I'll never go back because of it. Also, the food was terrible as well, pretty bland and my fathers hotdog bun was soggy, yuck!
Awesome
Great course for good play, not to difficult or to easy'
One of the top colorado courses
Bill and his staff are always on top of it and take fantastic care of us. They have a great par 3 challenge. The course presents challenges for all handicaps and is rolling wonderfully. Thank you Bill!
Pace of play a problem
I enjoy the course. Challenging elevation changes, accuracy needed on many holes, driveable par 4's, all make it desire able to a golfer BUT, I've only played there twice and both times groups ahead are slow, screwing around and holding up play to where other golfers left the course rather than finish. Carts are in bad shape. The course is wonderful but management is poor.
Deer creek
Great round with affordable green fees. Highly recommended.
Great value
If you want to play a great course that's fair, but also allows for some risk reward...this is the place. Can't beat the golfnow pricing either. In my opinion the only thing that would make this course better would be seeing the beer cart more frequently and increasing the speed of the greens. Otherwise great experience, great value.
Deer Creek
Great overall value. The course conditions are great. Greens look really good. Only negative to mention is that no beverage cart on a Thursday. No Soad bottles or can to take along - Disappointing!
July 2nd
Course was in great shape. No score cards offered or in the carts or on the course. Staff was in different. I find I get treated different with a Golf Now tee time
Great Course for the price
Great course that will challange you in many ways. The front and back nine are quite different by each offer their own challanges.
