It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Great Course
Beautiful course. In great shape for this time of the year. The value was outstanding. Highly recommended for all golfers.
very good value
This is an interesting course in failry good shape for this time of year. They have good electric carts and four tees to chose from. All of the hole are different and the course design was well thought out.
Slow Play
Really like the course and it is a great value, but it was another 5 hour round of golf on a Monday. There were no Marshals out on course, or beverage person, and this is the second and last time I will play this course ( last time was close to 5 hours as well).
Great Spot and Value
Staff is very friendly. One of the best values around especially with Golf Now. Greens roll great and true. Very fair and rewarding golf course. Highly recommended.
great value
Cours was in great shape for this time of year, very challenging yet still fun.
Deer Creek - Good Value for money but PACE OF PLAY TERRIBLE
We booked a 12:20 tee time on Monday February 9th. We expected there to be a lot of people out enjoying a round of golf as it was 70 degrees in Denver in February! The problem that we ran into was the course was overbooked and the tee time space was stacked to the max with no regard for time. The usual pace of play time for Deer Creek is 4 hours 30 minutes, and it took us 3 hours to play 9 holes. The only good thing was that they gave us a rain check for 9 holes. If you want to play this course, you need to play at 6:00 in the morning or you are looking at a 6 hour round of golf which does not sound like much fun.
Great Winter Rate
I have yet to see too many courses giving a discounted rate for the winter time. Typically, it's not 68 degrees in Februrary, but still was pleased to see a discounted winter rate for golf. I enjoyed the round and thought it was a great deal for $35 in the middle of winter.
Great day
January golf in Colorado is never a bad day. A few patches of snow on north slope in the shadows. This didn't interfer as fairways were clear, tees were soft and greens rolled true. Dogs and drinks at the turn with no pressure from other groups. Just under 4 hour round...priceless!
Fun course!!
The course is very unique. We always enjoy this course.
It was a little slow play on the front nine. Perhaps the
course management could have been a little better.
All in all a beautiful course! We'll definitely be back.
Deer Creek
People should not play from the tips. Outside of that, this course is in great shape and it would be a same if condos were built on the site. I hope the new investors see the worth of the course.
recommended
First Time there and will be back. Wife and I both enjoyed it thoroughly
great fall gold at Deer Creek
couldn't have been prettier than the first tee box--yellow leaves everywhere! challenging/tricky course...lots of "blind" drives, it'll play easier the next when you have actually seen the whole course
Don't pay full price to play this course
I played Deer Creek 12 years ago when I first moved here and now remember why I haven't played since. It is in very good condition and is fairly challenging but for full price is not a good value considering the terrific other courses near by like The Meadows, Fox Hollow, or Lone Tree. Do not attempt to walk because it's very long from green to tee. It's very narrow with cattails everywhere so the pace of play is excruciatingly slow with people looking for balls. I would not recommend playing there unless you have a good discount. With a discount it's worth a look but plan a 6 hour round.
Tough Track
If you're going out for a leisurely round of golf, this probably isn't for you. No matter which tees you play from, this is a very difficult round of golf. There aren't many places you can make a mistake without being punished. But if you're a real stick, and want a nice challenge, you'll like this track.
It is a hike!
It was a long uphill hike from the golf cart to the putting green on almost every hole. It WA a very difficult course fo me. If you are a very good player, you might like this course. Only good thing for me is that I found more balls than I lost.
A very special day
While the weather was a bit breezy to start, overall it was a nice day. The first four holes played dead into the wind making for a 2 club difference at times.
The greens were aerated recently and still showed signs and were pretty bumpy. Play less break and more speed and you'll be fine.
I was finally able to break par with 4 birdies, 3 bogies, and the rest pars for a 71. A round I will remember.
Deer Creek Review
The course had aerated and sanded the greens. I think it would be nice to let golfers know in advance the fairways were very good. Several Tee boxes closed. Greens couldn't be putted on.
Good course but horrible greens
The staff, tee-boxes, fairways, bunkers were in good shape but the greens were horrible. After speaking with staff they explained that they punched their greens but they also looked like they haven't been mowed in a while. We were told by the staff member that when I made the tee-time on golfnow.com that there was an icon identifying airation... There wasn't.
never that impressed
Been to this course a few times and every time I go I wonder why I do because the staff is not friendly the tee box placement is terrible while the front nine is way harder than the back so its not consistent... the only time I go to this course is when I get a great deal.
