About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

Love playing Blue Mash
I would highly recommend blue mash to anyone in the Washington DC area. I often stop by to play when visiting the area. It’s always in really good shape, the driving range never closes, and it is a fun place to walk if you have the time. It has an interesting layout because the front offers more of a links style while the back nine has more trees that are in play. The first three holes will get your attention immediately.

Great layout but the pace of play on the back 9 was terrible and no marshals to speed it up. Left with 4 holes to play.
Hi , we are very sorry about the back nine pace of play on Saturday. With the morning frost delay, there were more groups on the course than normal. The front nine was fast - not sure why the back nine got slow.
Great course, lots of variety, grass driving range
Nice layout, wide open on the front, some woods and water on the back. Greens and tee boxes in great condition.

Great course, fun layout
All grass tees on driving range, included range balls, course in great condition. Nice open layout on front, some trees and water on back. Only slight issue was that business was so slow during the day that it was basically self serve.... No starter, beer cart, or prepared food and no bottled water. Good signs on course made it easy to find my way around the course the first time.

First 3 holes are true testers... nice layout, changes in elevation .. some water.
Ball rolls as pure as a country club green.. awesome.

One of the best overlooked courses in MD
Blue Mash has the feeling of a links and parkland course combined. You get elevation changes, great holes working around lakes and streams and two driveable par 4s. The course is flat out fun and a great challenge. Conditions are good and one of the few grass ranges in southern MD.

Challenging and in great shape
Blue mash is a tough course, but it’s in great shape so there are no added challenges from poor conditions. They don’t do a great job scheduling or starting groups in my experience, but once you get out there it’s usually a great time.

Great course !!! I love playing Blue Mash !!! The lay out is fun and challenging if played from the proper tees and I believe you have 6 to choose from. The greens are always in great shape and at a good speed. This time there were fairways that were under repair and some that were recently aerated ; my greens fee was discounted accordingly.

I absolutely love playing Blue Mash . The layout is challenging and fun for all players, if the correct tees are chosen. The greens are were in fantastic shape, but some of the fairways were under repair or recently aerated, which accounts for the lower cost of the tee time.
