About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

Nice to play
Ok course, with moderate difficulty. Front treeline, back pretty open. Wind could be a factor on the back
Superbly maintained
I’ll keep coming back! This course is challenging and fun, superbly maintained.
Tips
Played from the tips. Tee boxes and greens were in great shape. Fairways were pretty wet for not having rained in a few days. The layout is fine. Some holes take driver out of your hand depending on what tees you play. The first 5 holes will really challenge you from a distance perspective.
Best course I've played within 50 Miles
Played long but what a beautiful layout! There were no boring holes and just beautiful greenery! Greens were near perfect and despite cart path only on a few holes fairways were wide and plush! Can't wait to play again since strategy plays a big role especially if you miss some of those big fairways! Try to find specials through tee time or golfpass to reduce expense but course is worth It! Can't imagine golfers playing from back tees! Whites were quite long enough for our foursome of seniors!

Slow
It was the slowest round of the year 2 and half hours for nine holes.
So sorry about the slow play yesterday - inexcusable. We've instructed staff to suggest to customers that they may call into the shop if there are any pace issues on the course.

Course was in great condition. Beautiful layout.
$100 was a little steep, but I’d definitely pay it to play again.
Solid course with some fun holes
Played in a very wet day, so can’t speak to green speeds, but the upkeep of the course was very good. Design was challenging yet fair and overall the course was a pleasure to play.

The course was in fantastic shape (greens/fairways/rough/hazards). Even with the rain, the course didn’t soften up and played true. Challenging, yet fair. If you hit the fairway, it’s straight forward. If you miss, you’re penalized.

Great Course Great Price
This course was well worth the price and the drive. There were two holes that had some ground under repair but that didn’t affect the round as long as you avoided those bunkers. The staff was amazing and they deliver food you order at the turn to you on the next hole. Will definitely play again.

Blue mash always worth the money
We played when it was balls hot out, we teed off at 10am and it was 96 degrees. It definitely got hotter as the day went on. To help with the heat, they gave everyone a ticket for a free water, soda, or beer and came around 3 or 4 different times offering ice cold towels. That really helped with the scorching heat. First class all the way!

Quality Outing
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the course was soaked due to 1.5” of rain the night before, the course was in mint condition and the greens were true. I will be back.

Less shaded course
I’m a bogie player and I made a fatal mistake by playing on the blue tee. I ended up with 105 score because of the course being over 6700 on the blue level. I’ll play at the white tee next time.
I’m 54 and have no complaints over all. My bad for playing at the blue tee.
Staff members are very friendly but no beverage carts. 95 degree in hot summer without the beverage carts makes hard on my head and throat. 3.5 out of 5.
