We appreciate the 5-star rating, Sung. Thanks for coming out to Blue Mash! Be sure to book another round with us soon.
Early Spring Tune-Up Round
Given the time of year, the course was in great condition and looking forward to when the weather gets better and the greens can start to be maintained. The foursome in front were first group out and should have been the "rabbits" setting the pace...played front in 2+ hours...too slow. Great job by staff keeping debris and leaves clear, obviously doing a lot of caretaker maintenance in the winter. The course will be back to peak form in just a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the great review, Dan. We're glad to hear all our hard work isn't going unnoticed! Sorry to hear you had some pace of play issues, it's something we're monitoring closely as the season picks up. Hope to see you again soon!
Green is good condition in winter season!
There are so many in repaired ball marks. Even if t They enjoyed to play here with a lot of fun. They need to repair the ball marks and after their shots.please love the course and talks care of the green and fair ways. Thank you.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yes, many people don't repair their ball marks.
Great course
Despite the weather being cold and windy, it was still an enjoyable round of golf. The layout is diverse but not too challenging. Will definitely be back.
Hey thanks a lot - glad you enjoyed it!
Bluemash golf
A little wet and crazy windy day, but it was 55 degrees and sunny. Cant complain about that. Had a great time with buddies golfing.
Glad you enjoyed it- thanks!
Quality course
Best advice is to know your ability and play the correct tees for your handicap
This course will quickie let you know if you bitten off more than you can handle
This course is alway in good shape, though the rough was spotty with some thin spots
Keep your tee shots down the middle, a big hop to far offline will end up in deep long grass with little hope of finding your ball
Friendly staff and we got around 18 in 4:20
Challenging Layout with good mix of short & long holes
Blue Mash has a challenging layout, especially on the back 9. The front 9 is fairly wide open with bunkers, mounds, and elevation changes creating the primary challenge. However, most holes on the back 9 are relatively tight because of water along the fairways or trees on both sides of the fairways.
The course has an excellent mix of short and long holes. The short holes are not easy - well placed sand traps and slight (or severe) doglegs. The long holes are challenging because of numerous hazards (water, sand traps, trees, etc.) as well as the length.
The course is a good challenge for players of all abilities
Nice comment
One of the best in the DC area
Played in less than 4 hours on Labor Day. Course was a little damp with two extra holes additional cart path only, but you could tell the staff cares about doing a good job. Will absolutely be coming back!
Thank you. With the extreme heat we have had to water a little more than we would like to in order to keep the grass cool enough to survive. Plus, with all of the previous rain, the ground is saturated to begin with. The weather just did not make it possible to let the course dry out as much as we would like that day. It is a day to day thing this time of year. Cheers!
Very difficult
The course was very wet so there was no roll off the tee making the course play a lot longer. The first 3 holes play like par fives although they are rated four. The staff, practice area were great. Will play again when it’s dry.
Yes, the whole area has had record rain, making the course play long. We look forward to serving you again!
Thanks for the 5-star rating, we appreciate you taking time to review us on Golf Advisor. Be sure to book another round at Blue Mash soon!
