Blue Mash Golf Course

Had a great hot deal from golfnow, course conditions were great, my wife really enjoyed playing there for the first time. Played the front 9 in less than 2 hours, played back nine in over 3 hours plus, had to wait on every tee box and sometimes there were 3 groups waiting to tee off. Never saw a marshall Other than that we had a good time meeting people and talking while waiting to tee off. Will play again.

My friend and I really enjoyed this course! It was in great condition. I liked the country-ish atmosphere and location. Great layout. Would play again, although I think it's a bit pricey. I was able to book a HOT deal. plus $10 reward on Golfnow.

Pace of play 4:10 for a holiday. Conditioning above average for the area, although some extra divots in the fairway due to rain. Sand in great condition the rain before we played.

Unusual course for this area - mix of links and parkland - mostly links. Holes are well presented but can be a little intimidating the first time you play. Nice facility and practice area.

Great course conditions. Greens and fairways are in very good condition. Only (minor) complaint would be i hit into a couple fairway sprinklers and fairways where ball ended up was soggy in spots. Played on a weekday by myself, no wait. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, open but challenging course layout with good practice area (grass driving range) and friendly staff.

We walked nine and rode nine. Greens were slow, but they rolled true. Keep the ball in the fairway because they are hard to find in the gorse.

I've played Blue Mash for years and the crew there has the course in primo shape. It's playing the best I've seen it in 8 years. I paid prime Saturday morning rate and still felt like the value held. With the way this course is playing if you get a chance to play off peak rates then you're in for a treat.

Greens were rolling awesome. I also appreciate real grass driving range.

The Staff is friendly, helpful and appreciate their customers - the way you expect for a top quality golf experience.

Not sure why no started or ranger, if more players had been there pace would have been issue.

This course was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be headed back very soon. The layout has a lot of risk/reward, which I love. The course conditions were pristine. Greens rolled quick and true, fairways rolled. Overall 10/10 for me.

Wonderful conditions and difficult test. Pace of play too slow 4.5 hours and had to wait on lots of approach shots. Groups too bunched up.

Challenging well-groomed course. The course is overpriced at normal rates. I only play this course if there is a HOT DEAL mark down. Most of the fairways are side by side and over play/ people hitting in to your fairway is a constant problem and has happened every time I have played this course. Furthermore, I had 2 of my balls (with my initials on it) hit by another group out of my fairway/ rough. This is not the courses/facilities fault, but is very frustrating poor sportsmanship. The Clubhouse comfortable and well stocked with a great outside covered dinning/ sitting area. Food was great bartender Katlyin was always smiling and attentive on a bust afternoon. All the staff at this course were helpful and friendly great service. Overall I will come back once the HOT DEAL presents it self.

If you like links courses but don't want to travel all the way to a coastline, you can get a little taste at Blue Mash. Except for a few holes on the back part of the property it plays very much like an open links layout, with just enough terrain to keep things interesting. Water is only in play on a few holes, but it looms large on those few, so you'll have to play some precision shots. It has maybe one too many sharp doglegs for my liking, but they add some different challenges.

The course is impeccably maintained, fairways are perfect and greens roll nicely. The staff are very friendly, although my buddy said the restaurant staff at the turn weren't too responsive. It's normally a bit pricy but you can find some cut rates on GolfNow if you're willing to play at an off time. All in all a very enjoyable and challenging course, even from the shorter tees.

Everything was great, only reason I gave 4 stars on pace of play was because we (me and my buddy - a twosome) got caught behind 4 groups of 4, did get to play 3 balls, so that's maybe a plus. And the only reason I gave 4 stars on course quality was because the greens had just been aerated within the last few days or so, still not a big deal.
