About
Blackstone Golf Club is one of the hidden gems of Chicagoland golf courses. It has one of the most natural landscapes of any course in the area thanks to the incorporation of more than 26 acres of environmentally protected wetlands. Half of the course is routed through dense forests of oak and hickory trees while the other half stretches across lush, open meadows. The wetlands come into play on 13 holes. Bob Lohmann, the golf course’s designer, crafted dramatic bunkers with irregular edges and strategically placed more than 50 of them along the greensides and fairways. It’s not a golf course where you can “grip it and rip it,” instead it will force you to think carefully before each hole. The layout can be a challenging test but four sets of tees and wide, player-friendly fairways make Blackstone G.C. more accessible for a wide range of skill levels.

Nice Course
Have played before and will come back again. All greens had just been aerated and putted terrible.
It was ok
If you like to travel to play different courses. It’s worth it for a hot deal only. Course layout was tough. It was pretty. some Staff were rude.

One of the best in IL
This course is a beautiful layout and very well maintained. Definitely one of my favorite courses to play in the area. Definitely get yourself out on this track.

Beautiful track
Played here twice in the last couple weeks and the conditions were great. we always plan an annual group outing here and a couple more times just because it's a great course.

Great course, almost...
Absolutely love this course, with the exception of hole 14. It is simply an awful golf hole, with a huge swamp to cross on the second shot. Anything other than a perfect tee shot requires a lay up (wasted stroke) with a 130-150 yard shot to an elevated green. Just plan on a double bogey (or worse), which puts a dent in an otherwise good round. Otherwise a great course with a challenging layout and a very friendly staff!

Nice Course
We play a different course every week and this is 1 of our favorites. We (8 of us) probably get here 2 to 3 times a year and always look forward to coming here.

Great Experience
Course was in great shape and will challenge all golfers from their selected Tee box. Homes on the course are beautiful especially the between the 8th and 9th holes!

Course in excellent condition but greens need alot of work with ball marks.

Well run golf course
My wife Debbie and I have played the course several times and enjoy its' challenge. It is well maintained and the Rangers, Mike and Larry, are courteous but keep the play on schedule; which is important for any playing group. We've also met some terrific people at the course and will be joining new friends at the next planned outing August 9, 2019.
