Marengo Ridge Golf & Country Club

About
Marengo Ridge Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1963. Spread across rolling, wooded hills, the course was crafted by re-purposing an old farm. The working cattle barn was even renovated to become the clubhouse. As the golf course garnered a local following, a new nine was added in 1990. The more than 25-year difference between when the two nines were constructed give the course a unique character. The layout seamlessly blends modern techniques and classic design. The distinct topographies of each nine add even more variety. Marengo Ridge Golf Club's original nine holes weave through mature trees while the newer holes are more open and links-style. There are several tricky doglegs throughout but it isn't overly punishing if you're errant. You'll also face several water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

Great, challenging course
Great course, tight and challenging on many holes. Pace of play was terrible the day I went (Saturday). Had to wait to tee off 10 minutes on some holes. Other than pace of play, this is a great course.
Great course
Janet was exceptional behind the front desk! The gentleman out front were very friendly. Course was in great shape. Would definitely recommend playing Marengo Ridge..
Marengo ridge
Very challenging course and kept very good condition
Hidden Secret
Very nice course and a good rate for seniors during the week
Tight course.
The pace of play was good for a Sunday morning, Greens were slower, Course layout was very tight, Golf Ball were flying all over the place, it's best to keep the cart window up so you didn't get hit. Bunkers were okay, Hard sand.
Moved along nicely
Went out around noon on a beautiful weather Friday..expected a long round with stacked tees, but things went smoothly and starter was on top of things. Done in 4 hrs and no long waits. Course was in decent shape but traps were rock hard and some greens were chewed up. People just don’t fox their ball marks. Overall good value and we will be back soon.
One of our favorites
We visit a number of courses over the year and find Marengo Ridge to be a great value Course was in good shape especially with such a hot summer. Some cart paths could be improved re bunpy, standing water, etc. Janet the owner is always a pleasure to deal with.
