friends enjoying golf Photo submitted by u998302706 on 10/23/2020
Slo...slo...SLooow
The course was in good shape...the value was good...the staff was friendly...how ever if you are looking for a 5 hour round this is the place....at one point there were 5 groups on a par 5...I timed it and I waited 12 minutes between a shot...called the pro shop and there was no relief...I think this is common...so be aware!!!
Fun round
Really enjoyed our round of golf. Course was in good condition for the time of year. I’d love to come back and play the course midseason. Sounds like there is new ownership and they are putting some money back into the course. I thought the layout and some of the holes were really fun.
Not worth it
$70 for 5hr round, aerated greens, winter bunkers with zero up keep, an angry/bitter ranger, cart path only, AND no walking allowed (seemingly for a cart fee money grab).
Great course, friendly service, golf carts have GPS which is great when determining which club to use without a range finder. A good balance between hazards and difficultly to keep you honest. I plan on playing several more times to come
Whisper Creek
5 stars for staff friendliness but course conditions itself deserves a 2 stars at best. Weeds on every tee box and bunkers. Use to be a pristine course but as of late it has been downhill .
Shh, Whisper Creek is fantastic
Had a great round. The course is in very good condition bar a few tee boxes needing grass and some bunkers becoming wilderness traps. Even had a large doe run across the 8th fairway!
Whisper creek
Tee box’s need a lot of help, greens are in great shape. Cart paths need to be redone
Whisper Creek
Very nice course, wide open. Course was in good condition outside of the carts paths. They need to be resurfaced. New carts with GPS in them.
Good Value for Price paid
If you are looking for the Whisper Creek of 10 years ago, you will be disappointed. Fairways are in great shape, greens were a bit slow but not terrible, but the traps are an absolute joke. Fairway traps should just be taken out. There is zero effort being made to address the poor shape of the fairway traps. Greeside traps have maybe an eighth of an inch of sand then just clay. I assume the greens were slow because of recent rain. They were smooth and in the past have had good speed so I do not wish to downgrade the greens when the course might just being careful. For What I paid on GolfNow, I would definitely play again. At regular rack rate, Would not choose this course.
