North at Antelope Hills Golf Course
About
The North Course is as different as can be from its sister, offering a tighter, more traditional layout. The greens are known locally for their speed, but it is the Elm trees -- some standing as tall as 50 feet -- that are likely to capture the attention of the first-time Prescott golfer.

In need of Water
Need to figure out how to have water available since no return to clubhouse after nine occurs
Slowwwww
Very slow play, greens soft but semi fast and rough (foot prints). Nice group and sunny.
Nice course for the money. They get stacked up as walkers are allowed, but my round flowed well. A few weird holes but that makes it challenging.
Time to offer golf etiquette seminars!!!
I really enjoy the staff here, the food is over the top good, and the bartenders are the best.
Now the hard truth about the course.
Countless times including the day I played some selfish moran has spit out sunflower seeds casing on the green. Not one or two, but 20.
They never make people pair up like two twosomes become a foursome. People at this course have no idea that is what is best to speed up play.
There is no offer to play though if you are a single or double and encounter a foursome. God forbid if you are golfing with you r wife and she hits better then the old retired guys then you will never be able to play through.
I frequently stop playing due to slow play after the 12th hole.
In Prescott the average Joe only has two good courses to play. Stone Ridge is way too expensive to ride around in beat up golf carts. The rest are Private and that leaves Antelope Hills as the only resort.
Great place to play in the summer heat
The weather was perfect & the course was in terrific shape with the greens being some of the best I've ere played on. The only negative is there was not one person out side the pro shop to help with anything. You even had to walk across a street just get your cart. Then in a 4 hour round we only saw the beverage cart twice.
But overall I would go back in a heartbeat.
Over priced
For a municipal course it was not a very reasonable priced for the condition of the course. We played the north course several years ago and it was in much better condition.
Great course
The greens were really soft, can spin the ball really well on them, plus lucious fairways and really nice course at a reasonable price!

We played it today and it was overbooked so bad that on hole seven we had three foursomes waiting at the same time. Then a course ranger had the nerve to tell us to pick up the pace. We will never be going back there again.
