North at Antelope Hills Golf Course

About
The North Course is as different as can be from its sister, offering a tighter, more traditional layout. The greens are known locally for their speed, but it is the Elm trees -- some standing as tall as 50 feet -- that are likely to capture the attention of the first-time Prescott golfer.

Mediocre at best
3 things,
#1, rude staff in pro shop. Each time I have been here they are snippy and rude. Not just one or two but all I have interacted with. Aka poor customer service..
#2, understaffed bar and kitchen. Unless you are the only one in the building be ready to wait longer than average. Even for a beverage.
#3, inconsistent greens. I am pretty sure the staff doesn’t come out and fix divots. When I can I try to fix a few on each hole because everyone should. The grass is not in terrible shape like other courses in this area, but they are not 5 star greens.
Over all it’s an okay course. I enjoy the course but hard to deal with the service from the staff.
Fun experience
Overall it was a great time course was extremely dry in areas.
Good for a municipal course
Areas near fairways, bunkers and signage could be improved other than that a good track and for Father’s Day was fun.
Nice course
The staff were friendly and helpful. I got paired up with a couple of girls and it was fun playing with them. Course was laid out pretty good and fun.
Driving Range
I remember why I don’t play on Thursday before noon now.
The range is closed for maintenance. I totally understand that this is necessary but I enjoy my time prior to playing.
Good course!
I got a full 18 holes in solo in just about 2 hours! I’m a beginner for sure and I have fun playing here every time, 90% of other golfers on the course have good etiquette and will let you play through, but you’ll always have those negative people at any course. Definitely wish they had a bar or something at the half way point or something vs having to go all the way back to the clubhouse
Another great round
Staff is always friendly and accomodating. Greens were punched so were slow and not much break, but not bad for being freshly punched.
Play was very slow.
The group 2 groups ahead was a hole and a half behind. A course ranger would have been very helpful.
Played many times
Antelope Hills North has always been challenging for me due to my age (almost 80) and its length. And then, throw in the wind yesterday! Our twosome completed our round in 3-1/2 hours, faster than normal. The greens were slower than I'm used to seeing but still true.
Great pace of play
The north course was in good shape, pace of play was nice course was wide open. There’s no ball wash stations
It was so play, today.
The s
Mens' skins group in front of us added a player on hole 3 to become a fivesome. By the time they reached hole 6, they were 2 holes behind the group ahead of them. While waiting to tee off on #14, one of the players in front of us relieved himself by the wall bordering the fairway. Another player relieved himself next to his cart in the middle of the fairway on #18.
North course A.Hills golf
This course is well kept. Staff is very accommodating. Wind can be a problem at time the ball would blow off the tee. Just being out for a day of golf is of great value.
