Beautiful layout with many tee boxes..The greens were a bit brown in places but still in good condition. We waited 2-4 minutes on every hole so it took a while to play. I would definitely play here again.

Really nice course layout. The overseed was perfect . The only negative is with the sand traps. No sand. Just gravel. Compacted gravel.

Still love the layout and overall golf course design.

Some work being done to improve the bunkers but not nearly enough. Worst in the region.

Canoa Hills is the most challenging course in the Green Valley area. It may be the most scenic as well. The fairways and greens are well maintained. But some of the course maintenance issues are mowed rough and neglected watering has made them hardpan so your shot better be on the fairway or it will be delivered to the desert brush. Most traps have been abandoned and not considered playable.

I really enjoy the course, but the pace of play was terrible. U was a single just out for a little practice but after the second hole all I could do was wait. It was so slow that a group behind me that was not even on the first tee when I finished caught up to me. So I waited and waited and on 12 I hit a drive thinking the group I was behind came out from under the trees and at 16 there was 2 groups on the tee box with me being the 3rd and the 4th was right behind me. As a went by because i was exasperating waiting one group was on the green at 16 with an open fairway. On 17 the group was on the green and on 18 the group was in the fairway. All in all I was disappointed in the pace of play.

Canoa is the best value around. Always a fun outing!

Course is in great shape. Bunkers full of rocks and hard hard hard. What course In southern AZ has nice bunkers? We all just throw the ball out.

Love playing here except for one glaring weakness...sand traps are among the worst in the entire area! Why? Please rake out the numerous larger rocks and add enough sand that you can properly call these bunkers SAND traps.

It's been over 2 years since I last played here and it was a bit rough in many places on the course. My recent experience was a 180° turn-around! Other than pace of play with a backup on every hole, and no marshals to help move things along, the fairways were great, the greens putted pretty true, and the layout is always a fun and challenging treat. Would certainly play here again once the winter visitors leave.
