Slow play and bad bunkers. That is all you'll get here.
Good shape for this time of year
Happily surprised at the condition of the course. The greens are holding up fairly well considering the heat and lack of rain. Fairways are also doing ok. Get an early tee time and the heat is not an issue.
Only issues was price, not at the $45 price point. No bunkers to speak of, basically tilled dirt. As for staff, EVERYONE is polite and kind EXCEPT the lady at the register. Rude and didn’t want to sell me range balls because SHE didn’t think w head time to hit them before our tee time even though we were 25 minutes early. Not very nice.
Would still recommend and play there again. Was happily surprised as mentioned above.
Little dry here and there but it is 105°. Anyhow, always a fun course.
tournament
there was a tournament that was very large and ran long. tee times were 1 hour late for hot deal tee times only. canoa caredl little for hot deal people and tee times. it was 105 degrees and the tournament used up water on course and canoa did not replace. nothing worse than tee times an hour late in 105 degrees heat. 5 hour round.
No sand
The sand traps are in pour shape no sand and too many rocks.
With the price of green fees they should take care
Of their traps.
Canoa Ranch
Much improved.. The greens are recovered and put beautifully.. Great layout.. I live here... The carts need to reinstall ball washers..
Rockers( previously known as bunkers or hazards)
You need to do something about those holes in the ground that used to be bunkers!
Canola Ranch a course without sand bunkers
I’ve played this course off and on since it opened. Over the years, the attention to detail has reached a new low. The greens are kept in good condition, are smooth and roll true. What there is of a golf staff are not real friendly or helpful. There is a sense of entitlement with golf guests getting in the way.
Back in Good Shape
After drilling and sanding the greens are back in good shape. Really enjoyed playing the course and the food and drink in the restaurant was great.
Golf course conditions
Everything was perfect except sand traps.Great Great greens
Good value
Scored a "hot deal' tee time so the cost was excellent, greens not completely healed from aeration, bunkers marginal.
