Canoa Ranch Golf Club

The fairways and the greens were good especially after overseeding. The sand traps are so they are called We're ridiculous. No sand and nothing but rocks and ruts. We didn't even try to hit out of them. Outside of that, the course was in good condition. They really need to concentrate on repairing the sand traps

I love the architecture, the routing and the views. I hate the bunkers filled with rocks and mud. We moved our balls out of all bunkers so we didn’t damage our clubs.

There are no marshals and the group in front of our twosome was a fivesome and playing slowly at that. The friendly beverage cart lady called the clubhouse and they phoned the group and told them to split up. Pace of play improved significantly after that.

This could be the best course in Green Valley if they made some reasonably large multi-year investments. Until then make sure you get a hot deal on Golfnow or go play San Ignacio just up the road.

The course was in awful condition 😡 Bunkers we’re washed out with large rocks and puddles in them, we played them

as ground under repair as they were literally unplayable. Greens were very slow and patchy. Would not recommend

playing golf at this course.

Sand traps are not sand traps. Can not hit out of them if you like your clubs.

This is one of the best golf courses in Green Valley. My only complaint is the so called sand trap.

The sand traps are rock gardens and they have been this way for some time. I enjoy the course, however, you have to play the traps as waste areas. Too bad, it takes away the 5 star experience.

Love the course because of the beautiful views. Greens need work. Slow and rough.

The bunkers are the worst! Too cheap to put some sand in them.

Course needs a few more weeks just coming out of over seeding.

Had 3 groups in front by the time we were on 18, and two more groups waiting for us to tee it up. No course Marshall in sight … frustrating…

It doesn’t matter where on the course you are standing, there’s a beautiful view.

Course just opened. Greens were furry and bumpy. Will probably be better in a few weeks.

The green were green but rough. The ball hopped and jumped went rolled. ROUGH!

Played the first day after being closed for a week or two for overseed work. Everything has grown in nicely the greens need to be cut lower. They were very slow. Fairways and tee boxes were very lush and full.
