Golfer Reviews
Stunning course
Well maintained, challenging although I would play one tee box back.
Greta staff, an overall perfect experience
A Fun Day at Salt Leaf
A am visiting the Naples, Bonita Springs area this week .
I thought I would play the improved Salt Leaf Preserve Course , I had played it several times years ago when it was called Raptor Bay.
They have added a mat , cage driving range - which I am not a fan but it was helpful to warm up and the balls come with your greens fee. The course is challenging with turning holes with water. And you have to know your ball flight and trust your swing . But given that , I had a great day trying to hit locations off the Blue tees and seeing the ball release down the fairways. Wind was bad during my round , being near the gulf shore - check that before you play . Staff , from Proshop , Starter, Cart Attendant and On course snack person - all super friendly. Nothing bad with Salt Leaf Preserve , I would play it again! Check it out !! I am a 10 handicap from blues / 6500 yards .
The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. Bravo!!
I didn’t play the leaf but did play the Preserve,
Everything was amazing, course and staff!
Beautiful Setting
I thoroughly enjoyed my round yesterday. The course is magnificent. The staff could not be nicer. The course was challenging but not oppressive, making for a fun round. The tee boxes, greens, and fairways were immaculate. Sand traps came into play but they were limited in number. Water hazards were well marked and the GPS on the carts were accurate. I
Hidden gem!!!
First time playing Saltleaf. Course was very well maintained, staff were welcoming and friendly. Played in the early afternoon and finished in 3 hours but it is not yet season here in Naples. Only drawback is that the course is not walkable due to the distance between a few holes.
Course is gorgeous
My 3rd time playing at SaltLeaf. I’d come back here every day if I could. Conditions are amazing, course is beautiful. No houses to play around. Pace of play is quick. Staff is great. Locker room+ shower is a huge plus. Great experience overall.
Refused me ADA rights!!
Todd at the course should be fired immediately. I’m a disabled golfer and was not notified by him of paths only. I cannot make it on a course. I was first aware of this when pulling to the 1st tee when the cart screen read cart path only. I asked the player assistant and he confirmed it. He also confirmed that I was about the 3rd or 4th person who wasn’t advised by Todd. I called the proshop and asked for a handicap flag or a limited cart release. He flatly denied my request. I asked him to put it in writing that he’s denying my disabled rights. He said he’s not putting anything in writing. I struggled around (not being able to play half the round) as I couldn’t leave my customers to themselves. What happened here is that this person refused to respect the American Disability Act. I STRONGLY suggest if you have any ailments you find a more caring concerned course. Saltleaf will be addressed to this situation exactly how you can guess. P.S. Every person on staff that I spoke to was quick to admit that he’s an egregious individual. TO BE CONTINUED.
Awesome Course !
Played this course on a Monday, absolutely stellar conditions and I paid only $70. Absolute steal for the price and will definetly play again soon. Staff was very friendly.
Great fun course
Very playable and fun course
