About
Designed by Rees Jones, Broad Run Golfer's Club boasts one of the best layouts in the area. The course sprawls across over 370 acres of rolling hills countryside. The dramatic elevations are definitely not something you would expect from a golf course that is conveniently situated so close to downtown Philadelphia. The elevated tees feel as though they're in the clouds and mature trees frame most of the holes. There are hazards lurking throughout the golf course including swampy marshlands and tall, dense grasses that are all just waiting to swallow errant shots. It is a challenging layout no doubt but it is made more player friendly with generous fairways and Jones was also light on the bunkering. One of the most difficult and scenic holes is the par-5 15th. This hole plays uphill, featuring a blind tee shot to a plateau green surrounded by trees.

Not worth the price
For $100 on a Friday morning it’s not worth it
I know it’s been raining but the traps were not good. You’d think they’d give you range balls for that price
As far as recommending to a friend, maybe for a cheaper price, but not for $100
Great Views
This course has great views of Chester County. The day we played was cart path only because of 2 inches of rain the prior day. Made for 5 hour+ round since usually at least one in the foursome hit the ball away from the cart path. Course was in good shape. a lot of variety in the hole design. Somewhat challenging layout.
Memorial Day
Teed off at 6:40am on Memorial Day. We had a last minute addition which they accommodated easily. Course is in amazing shape, tee to green. We finished in exactly 4 hours and 2 minutes. Sure it was a holiday but not beverage cart and the grill didn’t open till 11am. I love the course.
Great course - little pricey
The Broad Run course is very challenging, but in great shape and just a great track. The ONLY complaint is the price - typically over $120 for a weekend round is just not competitive with other good courses in the area.

New Years Eve Golf in PA!
I thought my clubs were in storage for the winter, but we got a warm 12/31 day. Always loved this layout. the only negative was the first hole was closed due to wet conditions (totally understandable since it has been a wet December). We ended up playing 2 balls each on another hole to get the full 18 in. The pro shop and bar staff were extremely friendly, as were the handful of members we encountered. Will be back in 2025!
Great track
Lots of views and elevations. Course is well kept and always an enjoyable round.
Golf Now stinks
I had a back injury and golf now wouldn’t let me cancel my round. I called Broad Run and they were fine w/ me cancelling. So I paid for a round I never played!!!!!!
Place sucks
Pace of play is garbage and rangers let old hackers do whatever they want on the course and don’t push them along. My group played 2:40 front 9 on a Wednesday at 10:50. Asked for rain check back 9 because it was gonna be a 5+ hour round I didn’t account for because who would and I had to go get my kids from daycare. They said no. Management sucks there.
Great Course!
Best time of the year to play Broad Run is definitely fall!! Beautiful scenery
Perfect fall golf
Conditions were great. Greens were true, firm and relatively fast. They have been staying on top of the leaves. Course is in its best condition, been playing it pretty regularly for a few years now, it’s as good as I’ve seen it.
Gem
Gr8 course hidden in plain sight an area known for golf. Gr8 staff challenging course and worth the price
