The Home Course

My long driving sons enjoyed the wide open fairways where they could unleash their drivers with good results. Seemed like you could see for miles, great views. Guys in front of us were slow and it rained on us but all in all good day.

This is one of my favorite links courses in the state, every time I play it, I say the same thing, It is Outstanding!!

Course is in excellent shape. Mike in the pro shop had a bad attitude. Other than that, awesome time

A nice course in good condition but I thought the layout (design) was pretty uninteresting/bland. Don't believe there is more than one or two holes that are memorable (maybe #9 & #5). The course has wide fairways and minimal obstacles. If I lived locally I would play here frequently in an effort to lower my handicap.

When does the pro shop/club house get built and relocated from the trailers?

Played a round on Labor Day. Pace of play was decent considering we expected it to be an extremely busy day. The course was in great condition; our golf games were not... I'd highly recommend THC to anyone who has yet to play it.

The course was a great shape.

Great track to play and always in great shape. Being Sunday pace was slower than normal but not terrible.

Course is in great shape, greens are a bit tricky as they are cut short but very thick or dense so they are a bit slow for this time of year and a bit hard to adjust to.

Course rewards we'll struck irons into the greens. Fairway bunkers are well positione, influence club selection and shot shape. Greens have a lot slope but are fair and not to fast. Short side misses can be a difficult up and down. Easy to walk, yet has enough elevation change to effect the club selection.

Pace of play was disappointing. Over 5 1\2 hours for a round. Great golfing experience.

The course was in pretty good condition yesterday. There were a few areas of ground under repair that dropped my course conditions rating but they were well marked with paint. The weather was great and there weren't too many people out on the course for a weekday at noon. Last time I walked the course and this time the Hot Deal with a cart was definitely worth it.

The Home course is an excellent place to play a tour type course at a reasonable price. The fareways we're perfect, tee boxes are excellent, greens we're a little slow but in perfect shape, traps have the best sand in the NW. Overall excellent experience!

Overall, the Home Course exceeded expectations. I love links golf and the course presented a unique set of challenges with sloping fairways and undulating greens. The course was in great condition and the staff was friendly. I'll be sure to book a time there in the future.

By far the best course I have played in this area and for the money. Course in beautiful shape. Greens were a little slow but was still in great condition. Pace was a little slow in the back nine but not too bad. Strongly recommend anyone to play there. Saved up 2 tokens so only paid $25 with cart. Great course to play the distance. Played the black tees and don't mess up on a drive or it's a long way to the green.

Excellent course layout. Lousy Fairways because the grass is so thin very tight lies rough is reasonable view is spectacular and the greens are absolutely lousy. There are two or three types of grass growing on the greens making them bumpy and they will not roll true. For the amount of money charged to play at the home course it should be in better condition. Yes they did punch and sand the greens but that was 4 or so weeks ago I played it six weeks ago and it was still true then as it is now the greens just do not roll well. Other Greens in the South End Tacoma Olympia do. The Brice I$ Right!

The course has an excellent layout but the Fairway grass is very thin and the greens are terrible. When I say terrible I mean bumpy there's two maybe even three kinds of grass growing on the greens and they are not rolling smooth at all. They don't look good and they don't roll true that's my problem with The Home Course as of this date. The price that they charge you and the condition of the fairways and the greens I think it's way too much. Yes the greens have been punched and sanded but that was about four weeks ago and I played it about six weeks ago and it was still the same. Greens need to get up to the class they need to be for the price they're asking to play there. Sorry for the bad review but honestly there's too many other good golf courses in the South End to play that have perfect greens and perfect Fairways. I could name them but I'm sure you already know. Remember, "The Brice I$ Right!"

Second timeI've played THC, and it didn't disappoint the second time. Beautiful scenery and well kept course make it an enjoyable day, regardless of pace of play. Highly recommend a short trip out of the city to get down and play this track!

I will definitely play this course again. Such a beautiful course. Difficult but forgiving at the same time. I wish it was my Home Course :)
