Always a pleasure
The conditions at Robson Ranch were ideal. Fairways were perfect, ball sat up nicely. Greens were amazing, smooth, fast and held well. Even the bunkers were excellent. Had a great day there.
Perfect
Tees, fairways, greens, rough, and sand traps are in pristine condition.
Best Conditions In Summer I've ever seen a PHX area course
I play about once a week, shoot high 70's to low 80's. This course is in almost winter time condition (prime time) - greens rolled about an 11 and true. Hole 4 fairway has a bald spot but they are fixing it. Everything else beyond pure. Hats off to the maintenance crew! Great friendly staff as well!
Hidden Gem
Free sleeve of balls with a golf now tee time, that was cool. Staff is great and is always helpful (side note: pro shop closes at noon in the summer).
Course layout is pretty basic but there are some risk/reward holes.
The course is in great shape, no burned out edges, grass is supple and ample. Greens went through aerification recently and are already smooth and roll true. You can tell a lot of hard work is put into the course and there’s pride in how it’s kept up. Great hidden gem not far outside Tucson. highly recommend

Robson Ranch Golf
I played with a good friend; we are pretty equal in skill and enjoy playing Robson Ranch GC because it is generally in good shape and the greens are excellent. The only negative to the round was playing behind a foursome that was extremely slow and had no one in front of them as the morning men's group were finished. We drove past them on the par 3 6th hole and had smooth sailing after that. We finished in 3 1/4 hours. Course and staff were great, they brought us ice cold towels on course. Enjoyed the day very much.
Good Value
Course was pretty wet, greens were slower than what I would want. In perfect condition just slower. Not a deal breaker.. Bunkers and tee boxes were in very good shape..
Fun course excellent greens
Robson Ranch is a fun course with interesting golf holes. The greens are typically in excellent condition and have good, consistent speed.
Solid Course
Good condition as always. Multiple ice machines and nice restrooms a plus. Course layout is straight forward and fair.
Great value - Equivalent to Valley $180 Round
Greens rolled about a 10 and true. Fairways and tee boxes overall good shape, few places where summer grass is trying to take. Great staff. Always enjoy playing here. Same conditions in the valley, youd be well over $150 per round.
I'm about a 10 Handicap and play twice a month.
I think you’re going to love it!
We played here last November and wanted to play it again because we liked it so much.
To be honest, I think it was in a little better shape in November, still good though.
Shout out to Pete and Mark our playing partners for the round.
They made our day! Hope to get another round or ten with them down the road!
