Poston Butte Golf Club

I thought I would try a new course and was told this course was a “Hidden Gem”. The course condition and layout were average. The price to play on a weekend was higher than what it should be.

I enjoyed playing the course, if I were to suggest a couple things Maybe less watering Softness in some areas and add brushes at range in water buckets. Best regards

Ive never seen this slow a pace at this course. Three groups in front of us were bad golfers and didn't care about pace of play. 5 hour round. And the cart lady tried to be a marshal cause there was none there this day. We enjoyed the gentlemen we played with, they made this long round tolerable.

Great value. Nice layout c/w fun island green. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Restaurant and practice facilities wonderful.

As has always been true at Poston Butte, the staff was friendly and efficient.

The course was in great shape.

Course was in very good condition and the greens were smooth but not super fast. Overall great experience.

I've been playing at Poston Butte for the past 4 years. Course is always in great shape. It's a challenging course, espcially around the greens. I rarely shot under my handicap. This Sunday I was finally able to put my game together for 18 holes; that was fun. I just hope they don't keep hiking up the price to a point that I cannot afford tp play there any longer.

1:20 tee time. Great deal on Golf Pass. Free range balls day 👍. Very nice practice facilities and restaurant. Pace of play was perfect, even though there wasn’t a Marshall out. Nicest fairways I’ve played since visiting this year. Challenging traps and greens. Overall layout is fair for an intermediate golfer. We will be back for another round 😊.

Can't believe they do not have a marshal on the course. On the carts they have a sign that it should take 4 hrs and 5 minutes for a round - add an hour to that. Greens are slow on the front nine and fast on the back nine??? This course is not what it used to be. Because it was so slow, we did not finish the round because of rain - only got 15 holes in. Went to discuss this with the staff - no one there - 5:20.

Greeen spaces were good, but the traps hadn't seen attention for days at least. Water erosion , hard bottoms, and wet (before it rained). Pace of play was terrible and no Marshall on the course. We would have finished the round easily before it started raining if we would have been even close to their '4:07' target time. No one to complain to at the end of the round either. The pro shop was locked up welll before dark. For the price these guys charge it should be a lot better.
