First time!
Nice course. Played it for the first time.
It looked like it was recently overseeded, but was in good condition. Enjoyed the day and course. Wish it wasn't so far away from Tucson.

A fun day of golf
We always enjoy playing here! We booked as a 2some & were joined by a very interesting guy formerly from South Africa who hit the ball "outta sight"!!
It was the last day of "cart path only " for this season after overseeing so we walked a lot, but so did all the other golfers.A fun day .

Always pretty good to play
Easy to find, easy check in, carts good, water bucket for towels, ice for us, don't understand cart path only use so then we don't fix divots but it's their fairways, tees good, fairways nice bunkers with adequate sand, roughs keep ball up so easy to go under, greens nice with few marks yet but putting a little slow, price good on GN

Not quite ready
Cart path only, reseeded. Fairways generally okay, greens very unpredictable. It's still early in the season and growing in nicely, patches in some areas. The wind makes this course a real challenge. We had 30+ mph and of course it changes everything. Snack bar wasn't open yet, so bring what you need

It was extremely windy the day we played. Greens were in good condition, fairways nice. Cart path only.

Hot and dry
Seasonal business no amenities open that time of year. Wonderful layout course was in fatnastic shape!! Will return soon!

Course Conditions
The course is maintained in good conditions the fairways are nice the greens run very well. The rough is pretty consistent very seldom do you get tight lies due to the lack of grass

Great fairways
For the time of year the course was in great shape. Fairway grass was great. Felt like I was playing off carpet many times. Greens were also in great shape.

Raining, unable to play
We drove from Maricopa intent on playing, but were unable to play since it was raining and Al (the starter) pulled the weather radar and said it didn't look like the rain would stop any time soon since it stretched all the way to Mexico. They said Golfnow would credit us for the round.
Great Desert Golf
Course was in great shape for being summer. Hardly any bad patches anywhere definitely going to be playing there again
