Robson Ranch
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the female in the pro shop put us out early to avoid several other groups of foursomes as we were only a twosome. The course is in good shape with well manicured tee boxes and the greens were in very good condition. The pace of play was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the course and the round even though it was an hours drive away. It was a very good value and I recommend this course.
A very good game of golf
Both of us, me & my wife shot in the low 80s. The greens we're consistant and in great shape. The best course in Casa Grande.
Starter
Today's starter was good but.....there is an elder gentleman who smokes who is grumpy....marshalls say the men's group on Wednesday are slow so expect slow play...tee time was half and hour late...restaurant is awesome And food is great
Good Course Conditions, but Slow Play
The course was in decent shape. The layout is not very challenging a lot of the holes seemed to be the same. The pace of play was brutally slow, which is common this time of year. Probably won't be back.
Nothing special
The staff in the clubhouse are very cordial and accommodating. The starter was very friendly as well. The course lacks any type of uniqueness other than dirt/gravel lining each hole. Some of the fairways are painted green and hard as a rock. Greens were ok but nothing special. Little confusing at first how they color code (plum, rust) the tee boxes rather than giving the typical names but after a few holes you figure it out. The rough is entirely dead/dormant and brown/tan. So anything off the fairway is hitting off hard lie either dirt or dead grass. If you’re looking for a beautiful course this is not it. At least not right now. Maybe it gets more green and fairways improve in summer but right now it’s pretty rough. Fair greens fee would be around $40 or under in my opinion.
User Friendly
Wide open, have to hit considerably off line to get to gravel ateas.. Fairways and greens in very good condition.
Pace of play very good, played as a twosome between fours and finished in 4 hrs and 5 minutes. Would have been 20 minutes sooner except 17 th hole had three groups backed up. Overall course is a little plain.
If you plan to shop in pro shop don’t wait til after your round, pro shop closes at 3pm, too bad they lost $100.00 sale
Good course
In great shape especially compared to the rest of the choices we have in casa Grande
Nicest course in the area
I played this course 4 $37 at 11 in the morning through GolfNow. I played 18 holes with a cart and it was by far the nicest course that I've played in the area. This is an inexpensive course by comparison to other municipal courses in Casa Grande that charge far more for a course that has slowed patchy green and a lot of dead areas throughout the fairways and surroundings. If you keep it in the fairways it is in solid condition. Like most desert golf courses if you stray to the left or right you may find yourself and the desert playing out of gravel or sand. I would recommend this golf course to anyone playing in the area.
Enjoyable
I find this course pleasant...good layout and conditions...pace of play was also very good...I'll be back.
Greaat golf course
Pro shop staff and starter were friendly and made our group feel welcome.
Great conditions
Course in great shape
3 some played in 31/2 hrs
Greens were fast
Really like this course
Windy but that was OK.
The front nine was a little slow with the group in front of us, but speed-ed up on the back. The wind got up on hole nine but was OK on the back. They doubled the price on the hot deals which is hard on us that play there all year.
Always good condition
The course is always in good condition but 3 times in a row that they had frost delay? Really, barely reaches freezing but delays all this week. I don’t get it. Raised in the NW and they rarely have a frost delays how is it that they have them daily at a low of 36 degrees for all of about 30 minutes.
Crowded but moved along fairly well. The starter was primarily socializing with members and didn't understand the concept of tee times so we as guests were delayed 30 minutes. There are two holes with "painted fairways" where carts are not allowed. This of course slows the pace.
A friendly course and excellent restaurant and bar, making it good for a relaxed round with frirends
Beautiful Course
This is a great course, staff are extra friendly, Course is immaculate. Greens are great!
Hole in 1!
My first Hole in 1! I will always remember this round. I've been golfing 45 years, had 2 eagles but the "hole in 1" eluded me. Finally got it on hole 6!
Love this course and the breakfast burrito is amazing.
Great condition
Our day was very windy and cold but our male playing partner shot his very best round ever. I had three pars could of had ten but greens were slow and I missed them really bad.
First time on the course, really enjoyed the four hours, will be back!
