About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Fun challenge
The greens were aerated two weeks ago but putted well. We will play it again.
course is very challenging..
little hard for beginners player
Great course but bad day
Aoerated greens, slow play, wet conditions made for a long slow round. The aireated greens were probably mentioned when I booked it but I didn’t see it. Not worth the fee with those conditions.
Was not aware that the greens were aerated and cart path only.
Natural scenery
Very visually pleasing course. A few blind shots but also a number of exciting approach shots. Greens in great condition. Some white tee locations made tee shots a bit intimidating, but if you slide down to yellows you can ease the stress.
New Jerseys very own Tobacco Road
Get out there and play this course is beautiful and fun, but hard makes you plan your shots staff is wonderful

A really fun layout with some spectacular holes pace of play was excellent and course conditions were great

Enjoyable Golf Course
A somewhat challenging course that was in good condition. Due to earlier rains, it was cart path only. We played as a twosome behind a foursome. Bunkers are reddish sand but do have lots of small stones. Greens were soft and a bit pock marked due to ball marks.
Out in the country…very quiet, peaceful, no homes.
Greens in good condition
Tee boxes and fairways ok. Greens were in good condition. Layout is good. Bunkers primarily dirt and pebbles. Would like to see better markers to the next hole for those not familiar with course. Overall i like the course
Great course but no practice balls
After paying I inquired about range balls. The woman said they don’t have any left, and that there was a guy out collecting them now…that I couldn’t get anyone within the 30 minutes I had before teeing off. Luckily we were given about 7 or 8 each, but thats pretty bad…especially how penal the course is. If you spray your first tee shot…it’s gone…. Otherwise, it’s was a good course…pace of play sucked but it was expected. 12min tee times are fair. Please just buy more range balls, or have the guy collecting them come back after grabbing a hundred of them so your guests can warm up…it’s a big deal in my opinion…
Twisted cart path
Overall condition and pace of play were nice and adequate. But we had hard time navigating through the course when there are so many restrictions where the carts can go. It’s worst than cart path only even though it wasn’t. There are too many barriers all over the course!
