The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Great course but no practice balls
After paying I inquired about range balls. The woman said they don’t have any left, and that there was a guy out collecting them now…that I couldn’t get anyone within the 30 minutes I had before teeing off. Luckily we were given about 7 or 8 each, but thats pretty bad…especially how penal the course is. If you spray your first tee shot…it’s gone…. Otherwise, it’s was a good course…pace of play sucked but it was expected. 12min tee times are fair. Please just buy more range balls, or have the guy collecting them come back after grabbing a hundred of them so your guests can warm up…it’s a big deal in my opinion…
Twisted cart path
Overall condition and pace of play were nice and adequate. But we had hard time navigating through the course when there are so many restrictions where the carts can go. It’s worst than cart path only even though it wasn’t. There are too many barriers all over the course!
Great course
The tee boxes were beat up but the course was great
Nice course, bad weather
The course is really nice. Unfortunately it had rained a lot so it was cart path only and the conditions were very wet. Drainage isn’t great so will try to avoid it after rain.
Great course
For 35 bucks to play 9 holes you can’t beat it. Course was in great shape
So much potential….
This course has great bones, but the conditions are sub par….tee boxes are bare and worn, fairways are LOADED with divots, no one takes the traps, and the greens are shaggy and loaded with weeds……played it years ago and it was great…got a special rate for 9 and was really excited to play it again….walked up to the first tee and saw the conditions and was soooo disappointed. Staff is very welcoming. Might need to invest in the grounds and maintenance crew or this will be in trouble….McCulloughs and Hidden Pines much better shape.
Decent shape
Just like the other reviews, tee boxes are in rough shape. Turtle shelled and patchy. Other than tee boxes, fairways and greens were great. Def try to play it on a hot deal
Other reviews misleading
Course was fantastic. A lot of reviews complain of the greens being beat up but they were in good condition on every hole. Tee boxes were definitely weathered but the fairways and greens were good. Beautiful scenery and layout, plenty of bunker, fescue and challenge. Would absolutely play again.
Baked not burnt
Love this place. Only complaint is rocks in bunkers. I realize it wld be a fortune to redo bunkers but this woyld make it top 100 track in the country..
Difficult Course, But A Lot of Fun
This course was really challenging, I shot a 98 which is on par with how I usually play. I was concerned that I would run out of balls early on because the tall grass is difficult to find an errant shot in, but got through the round without an issue there.
Certainly not a beginner friendly course, but the conditions were beautiful and it was a lot of fun to play.
