The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

We failed to see the hype. Course is OK at best. The bunkers were dismal. F- on the bunker situation. Glad we paid, probably won't be back.
Twisted dunes
For a high end golf course, I’d think they would have sand in bunkers, nope, dirt and rocks, not sure why, I would not play or recommend this course until bunkers are repaired, or a rule to take ball out of bunkers until then!

For a high end course, I would expect sand in the bunkers, not just dirt and stones, other then that the course is very nice, I would not recommend the course right now until the bunkers are rectified, I was told by other golfers on course bunkers have been bad for quite awhile !
Quality Golf Course
Quality layout. Plenty challenging. Well maintained even after a healthy rain the night prior to play. Staff was great at the bag drop and pro shop. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, cart paths, driving range, chipping green and putting green in very good shape. Did not see much of the marshal (1x) or drink cart (2x’s - #4 & #17) during our 4 hour and 30 minute round.
Becoming A Favorite !
Another great day at Twisted Dune. The staff is very friendly, the course is in great condition, and the weather cooperated to a degree. It was hot, but always a breeze here, and some areas for shade. The starter was friendly, gave us clear instructions re: CPO holes and areas to avoid.
The course is in good condition and requires some shot placement. Good mix of holes and some of the shorter holes are difficult. Definitely some bunkers to avoid at all cost. Some very challenging par 3's . Some very scenic holes.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in good to very good condition. Bunkers contain a lot of pebbles, so be aware. Some water hazards on the course, but should be able to avoid them. Forced carries are over mostly dense growth areas.
Drink cart girl was available more than other courses, and there was drinking water available on the course. Also they do have a ranger , but we moved along at a great pace , playing in 4 hours as a 4some, and were never pushed by the threesome behind us, or waited for the 4some in front.
Took a last minute chance !
Was on a short weekend in AC and took a chance on playing this course -Very well maintained course with some challenging holes and bunkers. Staff was friendly and pace of play was great. Will play again when in the area!!
One of the Best near Ocean City
We, 8 golfers in the group, vacation in Ocean City every year and love to play the various courses. One of our MUSTS every year is Twisted Dune. Course has 5 sets of tees which presents a challenge for all of the family from a 3 to 24 handicap. Greens are fast, a bit weathered but still role true. Course lay out is magnificent. Links design with generous fairways to allow for more room off the tees. If you get off the tee fairly well, second shots are manageable. Played in a little less than. 4 hours.
Driving range and putting green are spaced pretty far apart, so if you plan on warming up, leave some extra time to get to each area.
Price at the shore has gone up across the board. Paid $70 at 2:45. Continues to be a family favorite.
Nice Course
Had a great time with my dad and friend yesterday @ TD! Not cheap (especially given the amount of balls I lost in fescue!), but a nice special round!
Great memories
Took a last minute chance on this course and found it a great place - friendly staff challenges especially with the tight layout and huge sandtraps! Would definitely recommend and play it again!!
