Twisted Dune Golf Club
About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Early January round at Twisted
In early January when you see temps in the 50s you have to play if you are a golfer and we were shocked to see that there were only 12 players on the tee sheet for this great course.
The course was in good shape for winter with the only real knock being the sand traps (just like any other course). The greens rolled well even though they were wet from the rain the night before and the course was Cart Path Only which was fine because we wanted to walk anyway.
Plenty of obstacles
Twisted Dunes provides many bunkers, ravines, water, uphill and downhill shots that will make you to think.
Bonus Day of Golf
Great weather day for December/end of year golf. Although many of the holes had aeration and sand on the greens, the course seemed to be well kept and taken care of. The people I were paired up with were friendly and overall good company. Looking forward to playing this course again when the summer comes back and the grasses have grown taller. I’m told it changes the look, feel, and strategy of play.
November Bonus Weather
Great day for golf, not too cold, sunshine all day. Greens a little rough, still recovering from aeration, but tricky to read. layout different from your parkland style course. Had a good time.
The staff was super friendly the course itself is in good shape people just need to replace there divots and fix Ball marks the greens were nice and fast for recently being punched
Great golf day
Nice day, greens were still recovering from aeration.
First time playing this course after wanting to for some time. Greens rolled really good, but everything was extremely soft and wet which made the course play muuuuch longer from blue tees (which are already almost 6800 yards). Hybrids off the fairway would plug into the approach rather than bouncing forward at all, drivers off the tee would react similar in the fairways. Overall, incredible layout and challenging course. Definitely will return to play under different course conditions.
Course in very good condition from tee boxes, fairways and greens. The course has very interesting holes but they are fair if you can keep your ball in play. The greens are big and challenging especially since they have recently been plugged. Considering all the rain recently the course was in good condition with the exception of a few sand traps. Certainly worth a return trip.
OVERBOOKED
Normally fast pace here had everyone go off on 10th tee left after 13 holes at 4 hrs not sure about the whole problem
Pace of play
Course was great. Except for the pace of play. After 2 hours and 45 minutes and only playing 9 holes we only lasted four more holes before we threw in the towel. Drove a great distance and loved the layout but couldn't stay any longer after waiting about ten minutes for each tee shot.
