Twisted Dune Golf Club

This course is such a great layout, but somehow every time I play it, the rounds run close or over 5 hours / we played for only $30 because of a “hot deal” but the pace of play takes away from the experience

Anytime the weather permits in February a round is a nesessity. The greens were recently plugged and sanded, but the fairways were in great shape as were the tee boxes. Twisted is raw golf, no cart girl or clubhouse amenities other than a snack bar. ( no bar). The layout is very unique, every hole is more or less isolated with dunes galore in a linx style. It plays as long as one likes. It is one of S. Jersey destination plays.

12:00 T-time. Played as a twosome. Starter put us out on the back because there were some foursomes that had just gone off the front. There was rain overnight into the morning so it was cart path only. The cart paths are mostly dirt with many pot holes, but many holes have paths on each side. The course drains very well. By the time we got to the front nine the grass had dried out quite a bit. The course had been aerated but was still in good condition. Some of the greens were also aerated but were in good condition. They have a range, practice chipping green area and a putting green. Paid $30 (plus golfnow fees) for each round. Great value.

In early January when you see temps in the 50s you have to play if you are a golfer and we were shocked to see that there were only 12 players on the tee sheet for this great course.

The course was in good shape for winter with the only real knock being the sand traps (just like any other course). The greens rolled well even though they were wet from the rain the night before and the course was Cart Path Only which was fine because we wanted to walk anyway.

Twisted Dunes provides many bunkers, ravines, water, uphill and downhill shots that will make you to think.

Great weather day for December/end of year golf. Although many of the holes had aeration and sand on the greens, the course seemed to be well kept and taken care of. The people I were paired up with were friendly and overall good company. Looking forward to playing this course again when the summer comes back and the grasses have grown taller. I’m told it changes the look, feel, and strategy of play.

Great day for golf, not too cold, sunshine all day. Greens a little rough, still recovering from aeration, but tricky to read. layout different from your parkland style course. Had a good time.

The staff was super friendly the course itself is in good shape people just need to replace there divots and fix Ball marks the greens were nice and fast for recently being punched

First time playing this course after wanting to for some time. Greens rolled really good, but everything was extremely soft and wet which made the course play muuuuch longer from blue tees (which are already almost 6800 yards). Hybrids off the fairway would plug into the approach rather than bouncing forward at all, drivers off the tee would react similar in the fairways. Overall, incredible layout and challenging course. Definitely will return to play under different course conditions.
