Whole lot of holes
Fairways and short rough were not in the greatest condition. There were several instances where im supposed to be hitting off of a fairway, and im hitting off rocky dirt instead. I decided to just move my ball. Otherwise course was in excellent shape, greens were fast and beautiful! Staff was helpful and courteous. Never a disappointment playing here!
Best Value in Puget Sound
Greens are ready for winter. Great value, great layout, very walkable, best view of My Rainier, Food is good at reasonable prices at the Tap House.
Again with the greens
Booked a round on GolfNow to play Druids. Have played here many other times through the ups and downs of the courses history. Sure enough, showed-up to pay for my and my partner’s round and the guy in the pro shop told me that the greens were punched the day before. I was never contacted by GolfNow and it wasn’t on GolfNow’s site that they punched the greens. The guy gave me a cart for free but still don’t feel satisfied paying $85 for two round and med bucket of balls. Half of the pins were on temporary greens which was also not explained to me. I want to think I still have hope for this course, but every time I am disappointed.
Another great day at druids glen
Always enjoy playing here. Great layout, good greens and wonderful 19 hole. Only complaint was a fivesome was allowed and no marshals to move them along or split them up
Great conditions foe late January
Course was in great shape especially for late January. Pace of play was perfect and the beer selection in club house is incredible.
Very Happy
Weather was great. unknown partners were great. Course in good condition. Traps not so good. Did enjoy pass of play and conditions. Rate not so hot for senior..
Long day and no customer service
A very disappointing experience at Druids yesterday. It took my group 1 hour to play the first 2 holes. I called the clubhouse and asked for a marshall to speed up play. They said they would send someone out but I never saw anyone. By the time we got to the 4th hole I could see things were not going to improve so I called the clubhouse and asked if my son and I could get a voucher to come back another time. I was told that this could not happen and that was the way it was. I was taken aback of the poor customer service that was put on display on this Sunday. After all was said and done we stuck it out the rest of the day which took us over 6 hours to play 18 holes. I will not be going back to the course in the future.
SLOW
6 hour round terrible!.. hour and a half to play the first three holes.
Fair and fun
I couldn’t have been happier about playing this course I played a few different courses when I was in town for business and this by far was my favorite
Foo Fighters show was much better...
Word is an ownership change and some grounds crew issues a few years back forced something of a decline in the course. You could see glimpses of greatness from a design standpoint, but too much burnt out grass, spotty fairways and empty water hazards caused some disappointment. Still, it's always fun to visit new courses when traveling. If only my play was anywhere close to as good as the Foo Fighters' performance Saturday night at Safeco Field.
Course in Rehab
Course has still not recovered from a really bad summer two years ago. Most of the fairways are very thin. Greens range from good (#18) to sad. This is the reason why its cheap and easy to book.
The course has a interesting layout, but you really need a golf cart. Its not a walking friendly. It played really slow for a midweek twilight round. They did have a beverage cart!
Incredibly slow
We teed off at 11:04 on a Saturday morning, Took 3 hours to play the front nine. No sign of marshal at any time. Walked off after front nine. When I complained to pro shop, my complaint was ignored.
Better than I remember
Good day, course looked good, people need to repair their ball marks though, looked better than the previous run a year back.
DON"T GO unless you like 25 minutes a hole
Don't expect to get off this course under 5 hours if you are lucky. The staff and players are oblivious to slow play.
The way this course is run is why less people play golf. They should be embarrassed by this slow play and circumstance.
a good day for golf
The only thing I would say is we could walk on and get a slightly better price. Mon-Fri 32.00 with a cart till 8:00 so we actually paid slightly more. They're rentals were very good for a public course. 50.00 but Nike in good condition. worth it as I didn't have to pay baggage and haul them from N.D Overall a good day of golf for My son and I
