Arrowood Golf Course

picked this course due to proximity to my sons home. couldn't have been happier. it's a very nice golf course. plenty of room off the tee, greens were perfect, fast and true. the entire golf course was in fantastic shape including the bunkers. trying to talk my son into a membership!

I was second group to start the day at 6:40am so we did not have traffic in front of us. Very nice and well maintained course with some challenging holes. worth the money. I shot even on front nine but had a couple of blow up holes on the back nine that is more challenging. I would definitely play there again. when I am in SD.

The course was in really nice condition. Hope I can find additional golf now deals at this course in the future.

Disappointed with the amount of ball marks on the greens and traps not raked. Never been to a course where so many golfers don’t care for the course and other golfers.

First the good:

Great course, really fun layout. Tee boxes are set up to make this a short easier course or from the tips there are a few serious carries. Pace was slow for a 7:30am Friday time (4.5 hours) but maybe expected for a day before a holiday weekend. Amenities seem nice off course but didn’t utilize. We had a cart breakdown halfway and although I paid to have my own cart, allowed the broke down cart player to ride with me. I went to the pro shop letting them know after the round assuming I would get my $20 single cart fee back but was met with frustration, hands in the air, can’t do nothing for you. Not a big deal but kinda made me feel bad for asking. They did give me a large bucket of balls but no refund.

Slow pace of play for a Thursday afternoon (4hrs 40min). Hot Deal price was around $65. Course was in good shape. Greens were solid. Off-course amenities are great. Would play again.

Thanks for a great day! Overall, the courses in outstanding condition… The only caveat is that Greens were recently punched and are still a little bouncy… That will only get better over the course of the next week or two… The course is challenging yet the fairways are generous. I look forward to playing again this week… John O.

This course is in good shape overall. It does get played a lot so it’s hard to get a teatime before it gets hot. The last four holes are very difficult to par as an intermediate Golfer.

Very well laid out course in excellent condition. The greens were well maintained and rolled true. Best rental clubs I have played with (Titleist). Well stocked pro shop. Highly recommend.
