About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Conditions improved; friendly staff
Played the Pines course again after playing June. Much improved! Fairways better all traps raked, greens firm and challenging. The rough is challenging. Got the round for $60 a good deal. Not sure I’d play $120. Course is compatible to LBI National at their stage of development, maybe slightly better. Great staff; Jason in the bag drop area was great!
Good last minute Hot Deal
Course was in much better shape than last time. (One month ago) Bag attendants were prompt and friendly as were pro shop staff. Got paired up some beginner golfers who were friendly but lost more balls than they hit. Made for a long day. Luckily we didn't see a ranger all day or the group behind us.
I was happy to snag a good value in mid summer!
Seaview Pines
Course was in great shape. A few tee boxes were alittle beat up but nothing crazy.
Another great round at the Pines
My yearly round at the Seaview Pines was great. On top of the challenging layout this year the greens had returned. After two years of burnout and brown spots these greens were green and in great condition.
The staff were their usual professionals and the round was great.
The traps needed more sand and some manicuring but it was a good round.
Rough shape
Rough was absolutely brutal. Tough time finding balls in foot high rough. Tee boxes in horrible shape. Fairways were decent and greens in great shape. Not worth the rates they charge unless you get a hot deal.
This course used to be better
Tee boxes and rough was beyond over grown. It felt like there has been no maintenance for awhile. The flies were absolutely insane, it was impossible to swing without getting eaten alive.
Seaview
Course was in great condition. PCs of play was perfect. A ton of fun. Greens in great shape!
We come back to the course every year when vacationing. I thought it was in worse shape this year, There were many dirt spots and uneven rough conditions. It needs some TLC!
Nice varied layout
A good course, plenty of trees but landing areas wide enough unless your well offline. Plenty of variety in holes, good pace of play. Staff all friendly and professional.
