Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Seaview Pines
Usually play Bay course but tried Pines for a change. The greens were very nice and the fairways were in good shape. It was a change but would go back to bay in the future. The Pines is a nice traditional course
Management should clearly advise when children and training by parents is the priority. First thing they need to teach their children is the concept of ready golf and time limits. Left after 7 holes. Good idea but players behind us were really upset.
Maybe they should play on first nine holes with parents and other golfers can play the back nine.
Suggestion not criticizing
Pines doglegs
After 20 years we returned to the Pines course. It’s an interesting layout with a number of very challenging sharp angled doglegs protected by trees traps and rough. Greens and fairways were in good condition. Rough was thick and difficult. Tees however were in poor condition. I would definitely play here again.
Sunday golf
Greens and fairways were in very nice shape. Was definitely disappointed in some of the tee boxes. They were very torn up. Some were mostly dirt and bumpy. Other than that it was a great round. Greens rolled very nice.
Great course
We really enjoyed Seaview Pines. Course was in excellent condition and the staff couldn’t have been nicer.
Poorly Maintained
First time playing this course. Have played sister course (Bay) many times. Conditions are not even close to being the same. Pines is poorly maintained and not worth playing. Pay the extra to play the Bay.
Could be a great course.
The layout is great. Greens were really good, fairways very nice but the tee boxes were an absolute mess as well as the traps.and conditions around the greens and rough were not very good. If Seaview just put a bit more maintenance in on this course it could be great.
Difficult course for a senior
The course was difficult for a senior as there are only 3 tees to play. My wife played the forward tee and I the middle. The middle was close to 6300 yards. Also, the rough was high and thick. The fairways were winding with rough having fingers out into the fairways which caught good shots. The forward tee would be too short for me and I am not playing the same tee as my wife.
Nice course close to A/C
We played the Pine course. The greens and fairways were in very good shape. The tee boxes and sand traps were not.
Nice layout.
No water on the course, so come prepared. We saw the cart lady twice & loaded up on water then.
The locker room was nice and clean. The restaurant burger was good. Will play here again.
Tee boxes.
I hope management and owners read this and finally do something about it. I play this course every week. I like it but the tee boxes are the worst I have ever played on. They have done nothing about it year after year.. PLEASE FIX ALL THE TEE BOXES.
Seaview Pines
This course use to be a great course , the bunkers had very little sand , some were fill with water , I don’t care if it rained nite before or not ! Your supposed to be a five star resort ! Some bunkers that were dry had very little sand . The ruff is starting to get out of control, the greens need to rolled too slow, tee box’s are shredded no grass .
Michael’s Round
A beautiful golf course. But, crazy as it sounds, maybe over staffed. Was asked several times my name and when was my tee time. Only saw cart girl once and she was out of hot dogs. Twelve holes later they arrived. Tee boxes worst I’ve ever seen. Maybe we’ll play “Bay Course” next time.
