Lakota Links Golf Club
About
Situated just below the Flat Tops Wilderness Area in the lower foothills of the Rockies, Lakota Links Golf Club has a scenic, secluded location that is surprisingly accessible to and from all of the ski areas of Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, and Aspen. The location is also equipped with spectacular views from all around the course. Jim Engh designed the golf course, incorporating all of his trademarks including bowled fairways, cavernous bunkers, and receptive but tricky greens. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Lakota Links Golf Club's final hole is one of the most demanding. This par-5 has a seemingly split fairway, a ravine, and a large area of rough.

Great Course Great afternoon Price
Probable the 6th time I've played over the years... Great fun course .. in great shape... everyone was friendly... would recommend and looking forward to returning to play
Spectacular Course
From beginning to end, this course delivers. Scenic and challenging in spots. Greens in great shape.
Hidden jewel
Definitely would play it again This is a classic JimEngh with lots of vertical drops and gorgeous views
Spectacular views and terrain!!
Jim Engh has done it again. Very challenging and hilly
Get ready for a lot of up and down!
Tough course for average golfer. Better golfers who like hills and steps should do fine. Fairways are pretty open but at bottom of ravines mostly. Greens in excellent shape- fast and true! Scenery is amazing but take it slow on switchbacks. A very fun challenge!
Would Play Again
Awesome views and in great shape. Layout was fun and ball flies a mile with the elevation. Cart guy was a little tight but everyone else was very friendly especially the maintenance guys.
Great golf course experience!
Good value for the money. Course was in great shape. Lots of elevation change and hopes with personality. Recommend as we have returned several times.
Horrendous pace of play
Fun course, but pace of play will destroy your experience. Backed up at the first tee. Ridiculous. Ranger drives around course, acting like it is not a big deal and that you should be perfectly content with the pace of play. Skip playing here. Some day they will wise up and you will be able to enjoy what is a very nice, fun track.
Gem just off Interstate
Beautiful course 10 mins off I-70. Unique layout, great turf!
Beautiful!!!!
Rustic and challenging, cut into hulks with verdant mountain views. Bring camera and a couple extra balls.
Slow play disgusting
3 carts 1 set of clubs 5 young kids screwing around every hole. Waited every tee box 10 to 15 minutes 5 hour round of golf. Kis were throwing clubs up in the air and digging holes in the greens. They were all playing with one set of clubs. We told Marshall on the front 9 number 6 tee but he didnt do anything about it. One of are players got so mad he quit on hole number 15. I went to complain but they were closed in the pro shop. We teed of at 1:40 and finished at 6:30. I will never play there again on a Saturday.
Gorgeous Setting
Extremely scenic course with stunning views of the area. Most holes could be the signature hole. My favorite Jim Engh course that I have played.
Western Colorado Treasure
Hadn't played the course in over a decade, and it has aged well. Wonderful conditions (both course and weather) for mid-November, plus a great tee time deal. Several tee options, and course layout provides multiple ways to play most holes. I won't wait another 10 years to play it again.
5 and a half hours for a single person to play a round
Nice course, overall great value but went by myself and it took 5 and a half hours to play a round. Super slow and no etiquette players on that course.
