Stromness Golf Club
Stromness Golf Club is a seaside parkland golf course with a tight and tricky layout. There are 11 par-4s and seven par-3 holes.
The course is located at the south end of the town, looking over the spectacular views of the 1,000-foot Hoy cliffs. There are also views of Scapa Flow, one of the great natural harbors of the world.
Stromness Golf Club's signature hole is the 163-yard 10th, played over former wartime gun emplacements and named Battery. Out of bounds is behind the green.
The longest holes at Stromness Golf Club are the 403-yard fourth and the 402-yard No. 7, which includes a dogleg right.
