Pelham Bay at Pelham/Split Rock Golf Course

2nd time playing here . 1st time was great pace was slow but a good time . This time it cost more for the tee time and they had nothing going on . No one in the snack stand at the turn . They had 1 cart girl working both courses and we didn't run into them until 5 hours into our round . Was a hot and humid day and they didn't even have a place to refill water bottles at the turn . Was just very disappointing for the price we were paying .

Every one workin at the course should Positive Energy

I love this golf course. It rivals Van Cortland as one of the great old layouts in the NYC Parks system. But the weekend pace of play is just too slow. There are so many players on the course that there are often one or two groups waiting at each tee box and you end up waiting between every single shot before you can hit.

The course was in very good shape. The greens were in excellent shape and as fast as any city course that I've played. When I was a kid this was the first course that my brothers took me to and the difference is night and day. Fairways were in good shape as well. Overall I'll be back to play their again

Greens where in fantastic condition for a public course. Tee boxes and fairways maintained. Will be playing here more often.

The course was great but was definitely over booked which was expected considering it was fathers day . But the Starter at the beginning did not help at all mixing up people tee times and creating random groups of people not based on there tee times .
