Great for beginners
This is a great course for beginners. I prefer more of a challenging courses and I setup my game to have fun. One of the few courses open during the winter I'd a plus and management is cool too.

Take care if you aren't a regular
I used to love this course. I considered it perfect for my beginner's game. It's not too challenging and pretty easy to get to from Manhattan. Then, I was publicly humiliated by a starter last season and left the course never to return. As it is warming up and my game has improved, I booked a tee time to try again. I found myself so nervous that I would again be made to.feel.unwelcome that the round was ruined before it started.. if your interest in golf is about a peaceful way to get some exercise, you might want to look elsewhere.
Best maintained golf course in Metro area and that includes Westchester County courses

I love the Mosh!!!
The mosh is the best muni experience in the NY area. 18 minute drive from my Manhattan apartment. The greens were rolling pure. It's so much fun. Easily the best run NYC muni; they always get you out on time. Beautiful walk out in the woods; you'd have no idea you're in the city. The only sad part about the Mosh is there's really only 1 or maybe 2 holes where it actually makes sense to hit driver for someone who hits it 250+. Awesome practice facility. I am team Mosh!!!
