Perfect Day
Had a great time on the course today. Ralph the starter is always upbeat and funny. Course was perfect and I played 18 holes in less than 3 hours walking. I think they even had something to do with the wonderful weather. Haha. Definitely worth the money.

Hidden Gem
Mosholu is like the Cheers of golf courses - a great neighborhood course where the management treats you like a long-time customer. They are very friendly and accommodating and will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. The course is in great shape despite it being towards the end of busy golf season. Some greens are dinged up and a few tee boxes are more gravel than grass, but this is not Winged Foot. This is a homey, intelligently designed, low-pressure 9 hole course you can enjoy on the cheap. A great place to spend a couple hours and work on your game. Will definitely be back!

Mosholu
Short 9 hole city course. A little beat up this time of year, as is the case with most municipal courses. The staff could not be nicer; really make you feel like it’s your ‘home’ course!

Country Club Quality Greens!!!
Booked a 9 hole round at Moshulu with little expectations and was pleasantly impressed with the course. Definitely short but the greens where country club quality (specially considering that this course gets so much play). Great short course in the city!

Great place to play a quick 9 holes!
Pleasantly surprised by this golf course!!
I’ve been twice in the past few weeks, and each time I’ve had a great time. The course is short, as you’d expect, and features a few blind shots, elevated greens and cleverly placed bunkers. The rough is lush at the moment - and the second cut around the green is thick enough where you’ve got to be confident with your club choice.
This adds a bit of a challenge and provides a lot of opportunities to work on your short game.
The greens have been in good shape each time! Beyond the occasional pitch mark that hasn’t been repaired, the ball rolls true.
Staff is friendly and courteous. It’s a decent value for the price - a very comfortable atmosphere, great for playing a low pressure 9 with family and friends.
Pace of play is average. Holes are close together, and the average person can walk the course very comfortably.
I’ll definitely be back!!

Introduced a Friend to The Game Today
I brought a friend to play for the first time ever. She struggled but was taken by the surprise of coming upon this jewel in the middle of the Bronx. Of course she smote her tee shot on 9, and turned to look at me with that "Oh yeah, I get it now" expression on her face. The course was a perfect place to introduce her to the game and the course and weather were simply perfect.
