Marine Park Golf Course

$42 to walk was not terrible. The course is a little longer in the back than the front so I little more effort once already tired. I would recommend a cart unless you are young and in-shape. The greens are in decent shape but the fairways have some weeds scattered all over. The location can't be beat though considering I live in the 5 boroughs and don't want to dive across a bridge to staten island and long island is far.

Course is looking better with updates over the past few years, growing in. Carts and cart paths need replacement. Fun, long course to play.

The air quality alert was on point, smoky haze made it hard to track shots. The conditions also limited the player traffic, so a decent round, even with holes with areas under construction.

The distance is long for a public course and the fairway is wide so you could hit a ball as hard as you can.

The green is one of the most difficult I have ever play in a public golf course but it’s really interesting.

This is a very good public course. Wide open fairways which are forgiving for wayward shots. Fairways may need a little work but they are playable. Whatever forgiveness the fairways offer are equalized by the challenging greens.

Spring season should be good for any grass growth, but Marine park choose not to. Beside the cart path conditions had been extremely poor in the past 3 years, again they choose not to repair
